<<<<<<<< Doubt Steelers +1 will be worth
anything come Monday at 11:30 pm, ET. Steelers are a pretty 5-0 in the
AFC, 3-0 in their division, injured, on the road (where 60% of NFL
teams lose), have more important potential tie-breaker games later in
the schedule, and Jim Zorn's offense moved the ball at will against
LeBeau's defense in the Super Bowl a couple of years ago. Good luck,
for you will need it.

I have been on the wrong side of MNF for almost every week this year lol.... really thought I broke the streak with the COLTS..... I do very well on Sundays.... but Monday night has gotten me this year....
BUT.... I like Wash at home night before the election lol...... Steelers havn't been playing well against the best division in the NFC and I don't see a difference here....
but don't listen to me...... cause Monday night is killin me.....
BUT THAT OVER TREND IS 8-0-1.... and has been minimizing my loses because I take it EVERY SINGLE WEEK....
So im on the OVER right now while I don't even know what it is

On MNF this year the home team has gone 7-2. I opened this thread thinking I like the Steelers, but the Redskins seem like they may be the play. Although, the Steelers have been playing well recently, but stumbled against the Giants. Tough call on this one.

It doen't matter how many. QUite simply - the 'Skins are NOT the Eagles or Giants. They don't have the horses for that kind of pressure. Or the scheme. Don't ever go by an entire division in making an analysis - that is flawed analysis. You must look at each team individually. They aren't even the Jags, who Pitt beat on the road. Steelers all day here guys, Skins wont score much against this defense. And I like the foreskins, Campbell playing well, Zorn turning things around for the second worst owner in the league (whose # 1 - Davis or Jones?). But the Steelers defene is flat out nasty, the Giants could not get in the end zone all day until the gift safety and field position, including a goal line stand from the half yard line. Pitt's blitz schemes will cause the Skins problems. Good luck whatever you do.

Quick question here, and please - do not get defesnive like some of the problem children posters. (Because we don't have time for all the uselss posts anymore.) But a small request - can you start giving us some reasoning behind your posts? Like I said in the Indy forum, with all due respect - we don't really need to know who you are taking. OK, great you are on the Steelers. Now I can sleep tonight....but seriously, it's the information and analysis that make this site work. Anything you could do there would be appreciated.
Is that how you accrued over 5,000 posts in a year? That just happened to catch my eye. Not harpin on you bud but geeezus, that is a high number. Do you just sit here all day in chat rooms? That's over 14 posts a day. Wow. I may do that on a weekend evry now and again but every day? Guys always keep in mind number of posts means nothing. We had a guy in college basketball last year who had maybe 160 posts and he was by far the best capper in the forum. I saw him win 6 out of 7 weeks straight. Older guy, owned a business, so he was betting big numbers.
Just keep that in mind when evaluating plays guys....number of posts means less than nothing. Absolutely zero. A high number of posts could simply mean, like we saw in this example, that someone sits there all day firing out little one liners's or worse, just a team prediction without any reasoning or analysis. Its real easy for that number to climb upward and I'm not sure that is a true indicator that there is value in the posts. Again, the info and analysis is what makes this site as productive as it is. Just offering advice from 27 years of playing, hope it helps.
