Seahawks is really the only game that scares me. First one out, too, so if I can get through that, I think I'm golden. Pats aren't going to lose, and even if the Panthers and Chargers lose, they're not losing by that many points, no way......

This week is a lot tougher to select the teams so I am going with much lower units than last week’s Wildcard games.  I am sticking with the Indianapolis Colts in the Divisional Playoff game to at least cover the spread against New England since I mentioned that Indy might be playing in the Super Bowl last week.  I also indicated that San Diego was my best pick last week.  We didn’t have to sweat it out watching the game like the other Wildcard games.  But this week, I am going with Denver. 

Here’s my picks for the Divisional Playoffs:

To answer previous post. The line is -10 (now down to around 8-8.5) is because Denver's average margin of victory is significant at home. I recommend playing Denver for the large. Peyton has alot to prove not only to himself but also to the fans and management that when they picked him up from the Colts he was worth the deal! Second, although the Chargers did beat Denver a few weeks ago. We need to revert back to the box score in that game and understand that the Broncos played one of their worst games all season! They possessed the ball 20 minutes opposed to Chargers 40 minutes (roughly) and they had 19 rushing yards all game. The margin of victory Chargers won the game by is actually pathetic when you look at the box scores, Chargers should have blown them out! With that said this is a great matchup for Peyton and Co., they have had plenty of time to prepare. SD is dealing with several key injuries and I believe Mathews is limited due to ankle or knee sprain and is a game time decision. They have limited offensive weapons and their Defense in comparison with the Broncos is about a dead lock.  The question for me is can SD keep up with Broncos offense and put up 35-40 points this game? My answer is no. They will be lucky to score 24 in this game I see a final of 38-24 Denver for the win and the cover. BOL to everyone

AFC title game will be Patriots @ Broncos and the NFC title game will be 49ers @ Seahawks! 

San Diego's game plan is to try to run the ball, but the problem is Denver's run defense is ranked 7th in the league.  Another problem is San Diego's pass defense is ranked 29th. Mr Manning will be licking his chops while eating his Papa Johns pizza. I really don't understand the fascination with San Diego.  They beat a team last week that couldn't win a damn playoff game in a million years. Big deal!!!!!!  Also, Mr Rivers will choke under pressure. He didn't have to throw that much last week, but this week he will have to throw much more because they will be down early and often. That's when Mr Rivers will choke and make plenty of mistakes. I will guarantee he will throw at least 2 interceptions or maybe 3 and 1 will be a pick 6.  San Diego might score a late TD to make the score more respectable, but I see a 3 to 4 touchdown spanking at the hands of Mr Manning and friends.

OUTSTANDING DAY YESTERDAY WITH MY PATRIOTS BLOWING AWAY THE COLTS, AS I EXPECTED!!!!! I FEEL SO SORRY FOR ALL THE PEOPLE THE WASTED THERE KIDS COLLEGE MONEY ON THAT ONE STAR TEAM!!!! LOL. ANYWAYS ENOUGH RUBBING IT IN, BUT IT HAD TO BE DONE!!!!!  

best value on money line ive seen in long time.  S.D. has already played two games and could have won both against a chocking dog Manning.  look for manning to keep this close and possibly lose late in game as he has demonstrated throughout his career.  Mannings playoff record with seemingly great teams is not very good with many losses as big favorites.  Getting 3 to  1 on what should be a very close game based on recent play makes this a no brainer.  

The BIG thing that nobody seems to mention (especially SD backers and I myself was on that fence). 

I don't do this often but I'm going to change my pick...I originally liked S.D. + the points....But now that VUE and Ewillie like the chargers I'm going the other way, Denver by at least 2 TD's..

Chargers + 8.    Hotter, defense gelled, McCoy knows Peyton, division game, San Diego good on road and especially in Denver.  Finally, Woodhead and Brown ran as well as banged up Matthews vs. Cincy, a defense much better than Denver.  Bolts eat clock, minimize Peyton, and cover.  Broncos may or may not win.
