Most likely Gates will be out, their leading top receiver, and with Floyd and Naanee still being out for the game, their wide receiver depth is lacking.
Gates is a hard person to match up with his size, he is a beast who has 9 touchdowns already this season, and with him being out, the matchups for the defense will be favored in Houston's direction.
San Diego is terrible on the road, but they played divisional opponents whom they play often so they know each other pretty good.
I don't think San Diego will be able to outscore Houston especially on the road.
TEXANS +3 SUPER SUPER LARGE!!!

SD is the "unluckiest" team in the NFL. They are near the bottom of the league in TO margin #30 (-8)
They are the poster child of why it is hard to win on NFL gms. "Unanticipated events can dramatically alter the outcome of the game."
But...best passing Off playing the worst Passing Def
Plus last gm where IND blueprinted for SD how to attack the HOU def
Taking SD -3
(SD still owes me money from NE gm where they literally left a LIVE ball on the field and walked away... not once but 2wice, talk about unanticipated events. Payup Norv! You emotionless Westworld robot face!)
(What kind of name is Norv? I never met anyone named Norv. I think it means north in French. Are his brothers named east and west?)

Sorry guys......I like Houston here. Basically a contrarian pick, which has worked out pretty well in the right spots over the years. Everyone say Houston look bad last week. That was in Indy though......most teams look bad there!! Texans return home with a soft, finesse team coming in......SD isn't very good on the road and the coach is on the hot seat. Something tells me Houston gets off to a fast start in this game with the home crowd energy. If you don't like Houston for the game, take them at that half!

How can anyone expect this to even remotely resemble a normal San Diego starting squad (which I remind you was 3-5 before today with some of these guys)??? They are DECIMATED at the WR and TE position...
SD has 6 players with over 100 yards receiving on the year...when at full strength. Today, only 2 of those guys will play...Crayton (22 catches, 339 yards, 0 TDs) and Sproles (28 for 261, 1 TD). Sproles is a RB and won't even line-up at WR.
I realize Houston struggles against the pass, but come on...who do they have to cover? Crayton is a good possession guy but cannot stretch a defense. I can't see how Houston loses to a team missing all of their best weapons.

What a lousy analysis and needless post. Please stay off this site if that's how you're gonna drop knowledge because i've seen losers like you come and thankfully leave this site for good once they realize they don't have a clue.
Inferior teams? WTF are u talking about? Especially during a year where there really isnt a bunch of awesome teams and nearly every team stands a chance at this point of the season. You must be a young kid or an old moron.
KC has never been an easy place to play and btw- Chiefs are in a position to win their division.
Rams have a young stud at QB along with a well-coached / talented defense and also are in position to win their division.
Seattle is notoriously tough place to play and that's all i have to say.
Oakland is much improved from last year and far from the inferior squad they were last year. It was also a huge revenge game for Oakland as it was for Kansas City.
So how do you easily say San Diego lost on the road to inferior competition? Because you don't do your homework and you simply guzzle beers and watch highlights.
Stay off this site. Please.
And this coming from someone who doesn't even bother to make a pick here a covers ........

SDO has sucked sideways on the road. HOU has reverted to their old ways of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Bolts continue to be the best offensive NFL team on paper leading in pass and rush yds, but are miserable at taking care of the football. I go easy on this one with a low unit play on SDO hoping they can reduce or eliminate turnovers today.

Hey W8, I'm kind of partial to Texas. I call many Texans my friend, including you. However, lately I'm on fire with the NFL. After seeing the severly banged up Colts dismantle this team, I have some serious reservations. I know I'm not going to change your mind. Take my advice- bet lightly on this game! As for me, I'm already dedicating this game in your honor and taking:
SAN DIEGO (LARGE!)
With you on this one!
CHARGERS -3

Obviously bro you have not watched enough of the NFL very much this year especially the Chargers on the road 0-4. . . I will simply raise the stakes with you on this game just for the principle of it. I won't even dedicate this winner in your name. BOL
Houston Texans +3 VERY LARGE
