I don't have a good feel for the side but I know there's a sharp lean on the under in this one so I'm hitting the under - 38.5 LARGE...I think people may get paid back on Pit for the Wk11 screwing and I think Pit market trumps SD's going forward (tough economic times!!!) so I'm playing Pit -6 small but I all but guarantee they win.

pitt doesnt really blow anyone out...i think pitt will win this game and i hate betting against the team that i think is gonna win but the chargers r on a roll...sand +6 just almost seems to good to be true, i think itll b something in the range of 23-20 so therefore i suppose i have to take sand/over...gl everone

Leaning on the under here I think. Cant see this being a high scoring affair. Accuweather says its supposed to start snowing in Pitt around noon.

but being a huge steelers fan and being at the game they played this year....im leaning towards SD +6.5 i will agree Ben throws too many picks and makes alot of bad decisions. but they can still win games when you have the number 1 ranked defense in the NFL...and number 1 against the pass. anybody know if vincent jackson is playing after his dui this week?

Chargers +6.5 (5 units) vs. Steelers - San Diego should be fine without Tomlinson on the field.  They are one of the hottest teams in the league.  The weather will be cold with a few flurries scattered around, but definitely not as cold as their previous meeting.

The Steelers were 6-2 at Heinz Field this season, This could be a difficult road trip for SD, and weather is expected to be an issue. In Week 11, the Steelers edged San Diego 11-10 in a game that went down to the wire, but Pittsburgh outgained the Chargers nearly 2-to-1. This one might be similar to the first. I think this one will be kept very close.

Notice yesterday that turnovers caused the major upsets.  I suspect it will be the win/lose factor today. I'm still going with a Steeler win going away. I think Rivers is a great quarterback - lot of drive and determination. But, he can't do it all. Fumbles aid the Steelers to a 24 - 14 win. Maybe an interception late from a desperation throw.

Let's face it... San Diego's deceiving 8-8 regular season record was the result of four tough-luck losses in the final seconds... hell, this team could easily have been 10-6 or 11-5... but, to ignore the underdog production of these Chargers (3-0 ATS TY and 18-3-1 ATS L 6Y's!) is handicapping suicide.  
 
Also, gotta admire the determination and grit of this team with four consecutive must wins down the stretch (including the pounding of Tampa Bay and Denver) and with their wild-card knocking off of the red-hot Colts LW. 
 
That 7-point  spread (-115 at Bodog) this morning looks like great value with the sizzling hot Charger QB Rivers (11 TDs and only 2 picks in Dec-Jan) versus the ailing Steeler human statue QB Roethlisberger (49 times sacked).
 
Confident San Diego just might leave Steeltown tonight with a not-so-improbable outright win... but, I'm getting on board with:

Taking SD and the points. Three consussions for Pitt QB is a concern. Weather a factor, but I don't think it is huge. Staying away from the total. Also, thinking about ML and an upset. Look at the Cards yesterday. The public and media love Carolina and look at what happened. We're not talking practice," Practice?" We're talking playoffs and anything can happen. Really leaning towards the Steelers here. I don't think you can really look at yesterday's results and equate them into another home team dibocale here today. Tennessee and Carolina are no where near as comfortable to playoff football as the folks in Pittsburgh. I think a flat out understanding of what to expect on playoff day, after a week break, leads the Steelers to a big win here.

my system has this one as an OVER and projects it at 43.7.
 
i think the steelers will win, but if you can see the chargers scoring at least 17, than the over should be your play too.
