I dont like teams going from west to east. This PITT defense is the best in the league. Only thing that troubles me is Big Ben's status. The road stops here for SD

I haven't made up my mind, but here are some interesting tid bits....
Earlier this year PIT won 11-10, but they were stopped on the SD 1 yard line on 4th down once, and then that overturn of Polamalu's fumble return took away 7 points at the end.
Give the Steelers either one of those and its an 8 point win. This time they are rested and the Chargers aren't.
Willie put up 115 on the Chargers last time, while LT was held in check, and he has that detached groin tendon now, so I wouldn't expect much better. Willie being rested is huge in my opinion, he was limping all year.
I do tend to think that 6 points is alot here, but I still am leaning PIT. SD was pretty bad traveling east this year, with that PIT game being an exception, unless you give PIT one of those scores.
I think Home field actually starts being an advantage now that it's the Divisional round.

I don't understand why ben was played in the second half of that cleveland game?? not too swift !!! they were already leading and they didnt need the win....Check the forcast !!!! I think the Chargers are going down....I think they have been lucky but are about to get the beating they deserve...steel curtain boom boom

If I'm the Pittsburgh Steelers, I don't want any part of the San Diego Chargers right now.

great game back in nov, and i expect a similar outcome this week. something about p. rivers - that i just love having him back up my cash. the chargers are 4-0 ats as dogs this year, and this is a lot of pts to be getting. i had my total on this game set at 36, so i think there is lots of value with the low as well.

SD is all banged up, Pitts D is the difference, and will create turnovers. Hines Ward has a big game, as does the Pittsburgh special teams....cold weather, to much travel, this is the easiest game of the weekend IMO.
The impossible only takes longer….

I have to go with Pittsburgh here and the only thing that really scares me is the health of the QB although he says he is OK and ready to go.
Here is some data:
SD is 0-5 regular season playing playoff teams losing to Carolina, Miami, Pittsburgh, Indy and Atlanta. Yes they are hot winning their last 4 regular season and they won me some money in the first playoff game. But the last 4 wins of the season came against ALL non playoff teams; Oakland, Kansas City by a whopping 1 point victory, Tampa Bay who was in the worst slump of its season and Denver. Look what they did right before those 4 wins, lost three in a row to playoff teams: Atlanta, Pittsburgh and Indy.
Also, given the fact they have to go cross country and play against a strong home team, who have an extra week to prepare and get healthy....
In their favor is that they have got one of the best punters is football and he may get to show his skills several times. But they are not all that healthy and have a question mark with LT for this game which puts a lot of action and pressure against the smallest back in football ... although I love that guy!
Pittsburgh on the other hand is 3-4 against playoff teams versus SD 0-5. They beat the Ravens twice and SD once. They lost to Philly in a close game at Philly, lost b a TD to the gmen, lost by 4 to Indy and got globbered by TN although that game was pretty close until the end.
Pittsburgh has Hines Ward, great defense and they have the benefit of extra rest and preperation. And they are 6-1 in their last 7 games so they are hot. I am just a bit concerned about the health of Ben but will pull the trigger on Pittsburgh unless I hear something negative on the QB's health.
