I very rarely bet with my heart, always with my head - but.......
The San Diego "Stupid" Chargers have been my only NFL losses for 2 weeks now!!!!!!!!! First with the Broncos, then with Indy.
I hope this week L.T.'s herniated groin bursts out of his pants on his first running play - then the Steelers take that little friggin' midget Sproles & stomp him into the turf!!!!!!!!!
I will be taking the Steelers, if for no other reason than the joy I will receive watching the camera pan over to that smart - ass smug Rivers' face in the final minutes when Pitt is running out the clock with a 20 point lead!!!!!
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!! GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ben got hurt in the second quarter right before the half.

I also like PITTSBURGH. Temperature is supposed to be in the teens/low twenties, windy and chance of snow. Either no Tomlinson or a very injured Tomlinson. Pittsburgh and Willie Parker are rested. I think Willie has a nice day. Don't forget last time Philip Rivers played Pittsburgh he had his worst day (15-26 159 yards and 2 interceptions) and quarterback rating (43.6) of the season.

No one on here seems to be talking about LT. He may not even play, and though he may suit up, I think after seeing about 2 carries he will be pulled for the game.
 
So that means they will have to use all-finesse offense with Sproles and passing. I think the Steelers rested D is going to eat Sproles up, and you can't sit in the face of their pass rush for long. Harrison and co. are too good, Polamalu will be lurking, I think a couple turnovers could lead to a decent sized PIT win and cover. Not a blowout but maybe 7 or 10 points. Moneyline should be golden.

I actually thought the the Pitt/SD  line was low, I predicicted 7.5 - 8.5. That being said I like the Steelers in a tease with balt and Carolina:
Pitt +4 ...If they lose not by more than a FG?
Balt+13..worrisome only if they fall behind big early, but have nt been turning it over.
Car +0...AZ can't win on the east coast can they? The running game that worked last week, will be non existent this week, like it was in the first meeting between these teams (AZ 14 rushes for about 50 yards)

Hmm I think I am just still sour to this game due to the last matchup, when they didn't count the Palomalu TD at the end.. that ruined my NFL betting season.. dare I play this ticket again? 
Nahh, staying with BAL +3. GL if you do bet, hope the zebras don't screw you (again).

I saw a stat on TV the other night and I was wondering if it's true. San Diego is 0-13 at Pittsburgh all time during the regular season, but 2-0 at Pitt in the playoffs. I know they beat Pitt at Pitt the year they got hammered by 49ers..

SD beat the mighty Chiefs twice this year by a combined score of 2.  Enuff said....they dont deserve to be here.

That is correct.  At least the playoff part.  Fouts beat them before Humphreys and Natrone Means did.

Ben Roethlisberger is not on the Steelers' Divisional Round injury report.
This means the Steelers have no doubts about Roethlisberger's status despite him coming down with headaches after his helmet didn't fit right Tuesday. Big Ben will start against San Diego in Sunday's playoff game.

Chargers plus the points.  Lots of scoring in this game.  Pittsburgh may win the game, but I want the points.

STEELERS AT HOME in the playoffs
Norv to screw this one up, he cant compete with the Steelers Defensive coordinator and the terrible towels waiving and the weather and the 3,300 mile flight and Steelers rested on a bye and Steelers have film on Sproles and Chargers recent game.......need I go on.....

Rivers doesn't ground the ball, he's very smart and knows the rules. I'm on SD to win outright, my only concern is that horrible field may give Sproles some trouble cutting, other than that Pitsburgh can't score, because Big Ben is horrible, I mean really horrible, he's a dope, and the most over rated QB in the league. If SD can put up 24, they win this one, 'cause Pitt's offense is putrid. NO, defenses don't win, offenses do, and besides, SD has a decent defense that will shut down this pittifully lame excuse of an offense. Big Ben is a joke, they need to move him to tight end......., I hope they don't pull him and play Lefkowitch.......

No LT, Gates is ALWAYS banged up AND who is going to cover Hines Ward??

I like the Chargers too because they went to NE last year and only lost by what 5?? NO LT, GATES and Rivers was on one leg.

Steelers defense is much better than the Pats of last year

Anyone know who will share carries with Sproles???

I am not too concerned with BIG ben...his backup is a pro...and I think indeed you will see a much better game this time...the sd runner didnt even play the last time the teams met....I think the 6 is shady to get everybody betting the bolts.....and alot of it......so take the steelers!

1... Phillip Rivers grounds the ball.... all the time... he just doesn't get called.... he did it against the COLTS and if you disagree then I am definitely talking to a woman who doesnt' know the rules... (no offense to all the ladies that watch football)

2... Big Ben is not overrated.... he creates plays when most qbs would be sacked... he had the best rookie year that I've ever seen... and he has a superbowl ring.... and he plays hurt almost everytime he stepps on the field... Pitt Oline however, not that good...

3... Defenses win championships.... football 101.....

4... Who has put up 24 this year on Pitt at home????

5... How many points did SD put up against Pitt last outing?

Can people Please stop referring to that cry baby box ladainian tomilson as LT. There is and will always be only one LT
and he's a coked up Hall Of Fame linebacker from the NY giants. tomilson
does not deserve to have that moniker. THE BIGGEST box IN FOOTBALL
HANDS DOWN. Even the kicker has more heart and balls than that person.
I know where to find tomilson in the post season...on the side line pouting!!!

LT is out for this game.  There is no fucking way he plays with a torn groin tendon.  Sproles will carry the bulk and Michael Bennett will back him up.  Expect to see Jacob Hester a lot more as well.  With that being said, I still like the Chargers +6 and the under 35.  Pitts doesn't blow anyone out and Big Ben is prone to turnovers.  I don't give a flying fuck what he says.  Anytime you had a concussion, it will have some adverse effects.  Remember the last game he played a week after a concussion? He threw 4 INTs.  Not saying it will happen again but he won't play at a high level.  This game will come down to a fg.  Most likely a 16-13 type of game.  Whoever wins the turnover battle and field position will win.
