so many different ways to breakdown this game... lots of different angles... but one thing that keeps bringing me back to the Buccs in this game...
early in the year SD was rolling teams, and looking very legit... suddenly the league catches on to their "Stick'em" strategy, and bam!... they are back to the same old Norv Turner coached fuck up of a team...
gut feeling is that these are the same ol' Chargers, that excel at under-achieving and disappointment... meanwhile, TB is a team with a lot of excitement surrounding it...
still not sure... really hard to bet on the Chargers, that's for sure...

Chargers traveling cross country to play an early game.. Bucs have been pretty good as of late, but almost let the Raiders comeback against them.. Ima go against the grain and take SD +3 for $300.. Best of luck guys

Hey mad dawg, no reason for name-calling. We're here to exchange ideas and make good decisions. You should always pay attention when a west coast team travels to the eastern timezone and has to play a 1:00 game. Did you know the Oakland Raiders haven't won a 1:00 east coast game in over 3 years? Coaches like Ken Whisenhunt of the Arizona Cardinals has his team travel on Fridays so players have an extra day to adjust. So before you start calling people morons, you should think before you write.
I agree with you that San Diego sucks, but why are they only a 3 point dog playing on the opposite side of the country? Shouldn't the number be closer to 5 or 6? The only teams they've beaten this year are Kansas City (twice), Oakland, and Tennesee. The Bucs on the other hand have beaten Carolina, Kansas City, Minnesota, and Oakland. While neither of these teams have wins against upper echelon teams, I would definitely agree that Schiano's team has looked more impressive. The Bucs secondary may be horrible, but they are 3rd in the league in interceptions, and we all know how Phillip Rivers likes to serve them up.
The main point I was trying to make is that the line looks too good to be true.
Sammy - Just ignore the bs on this site.. I love reading your post.. Anyways I believe Doug Martin is going to have another good day. Freeman is going to have a good day setting up play action to Vincent Jackson, mike Williams all day long.. I hope haha

Schiano is a good Coach. He is well aware of SD runs defense and wont just play right into it. I am sure he has lots of play action waiting and screens. Plus, when TB needs to pass, they can. 2 great recievers. TB will open it up to begin, put SD on its heels.
Look for my pick-off to get picked 2 -4 times. They have not traveled east well the past couple of years. Seem to do well in division on the road. Other than that...
Alomst seems like a no bet game. I am going to stick with Schino here and the over.

Norv and the Charger's regular-season record after November 1 is something like 32-12, including 21-3 in December and January! The Chargers kept this going last week with a win over thelowly Chiefs. I think the Charger's Defense trumps TB's defense and the Chargers win this one out right.

Gotta roll with TB here. I don't believe in SD this year, and TB seems to be getting on a bit of roll. Freeman and VJax have some nice deep ball chemistry going right now, and we all know how well Doug Martin is running the ball. I've watched a bunch of SD games this year, and they're really a mess folks. Rivers is forcing way too much, and against a D that could force some TO's, i'd look for Philip to get picked a few times. It isn't all Rivers fault though, as he doesn't have a legit #1 to throw the ball to, hell i'd argue he doesn't even have a legit #2! Gates isn't the same Gates either. Matthews is their only play-maker on the offense, and I think their D overall is just average. I'm taking TB -3. Good luck.

I loved Tampa Bay the past two weeks, but this week I will fade them. Tampa off two road wins with the last one coming from behind at half. Line value, the forum loves TB, my fade guys loves TB, and the fact that Vegas got worked last week... yeah I can see a San Diego victory.
