love the cowboys in this spot - great road win last week, and now its time for romo to get comfortable with all his weapons once again.  factor in the body clocks of sf still being in the am, and i see an easy cover for the cowboys in this one.

 I still dont no why people are making Dallas out to be some great team they are over-rated by the public and for some reason the odds makers as well....

Any given Sunday, yes, but you got to be kidding. Dallas can be over rated or not, but they definately a better team than SF and playing at home. 49's ML SU is just silly talking. That just illogical to declare thing like that. It like half way thru the season now and reason like this is why Football players make better analyst.

Too much chalk here........the NCAA covered all kinds of chalk yesterday........much to my displeasure..........but I am still on my horse taking points..........Dallas can't cover this many.........and the Washington team they beat last week is slumping like your grandfather after a Thankgiving Day meal on the couch.........Meanwhile, SF is getting an injection of energy and lessons in life and football from one of the most passionate players of all time.........I like the focus and determination that the Niners will bring to the game today and I still think that Dallas unravels in the next 6 weeks.........starting today!!!  SF and the over along with a little money line bet for good measure.

Obviously, the line makes the difference here.  Everyone is correct about DD dogs in the NFL but once the line goes to 9.0 - 9.5 it is a different story. RobertoFiory puts together a great trends page about NFL and this is what he tracked:
 
Summary
 
Teams favored by 9 or 9.5 are 15 - 10 ATS YTD
 
Teams favored by >= 10 are  2 - 16 ATS YTD
 
While it seems inconceivable that DD favs would continue to flounder week after week ...
that is precisely the case this year ...
as DD favorites are an astonishing 2 - 16 ATS this year ( correct me if I'm wrong ) &  going with the covers lines.
 
This is all Roberto's work, not mine so all credit goes to him and the time he spends doing this.
 
Anyway if you can get the DD line take it as 2-16 is a great stat to have in your back pocket.

I have to tell you something....psst..    Today will be a classic example of why 49ers will be looking for a new Coach in the off season. Cause he sucks, and cant agree with the O coordinator, no matter how pumped they were last week when I had them for a G note, this week they get an Enema. Get your Popcorn ready, TO has been cleared for takeoff, Jerry Jones called the FAA today and made sure they wouldnt get in trouble for all the air traffic over the stadium. Barber 2 TD's Owens 3 Td's , Witten 1 TD,   Sanfran 1 TD............. 1 field goal.

It's been quite a while since the Dallas Cowboys have gone out and beat up on a weaker opponent.  I see this being that type of game.  Last week was Romo and Newman getting back into the groove and getting a feel for the game.  Now the offense is fully back, Barber is back involved in the game, and they should be able to tear apart this weak 49ers defense. 

Dallas  -9.5

San Francisco +10 - Most books have this one at 9.5. I recommend buying the hook to be safe. I really like SF in this spot though. The Cowboys are off a nice win and the public is back on them. Romo is back, but their problems go much deeper than that. Felix Jones is done for the year, they still have holes in the secondary, and they just aren't a great team. I like SF to keep this close and catch the still too over confident Cowboys off gaurd. Play the Niners.

What is "illogical" is a gambler not pulling the trigger on possible juicy payoffs once in a while. Such as yesterday,taking Syracuse on the money line vs an overrated Notre Dame team . With loads of games to pick ,Hesitation unfortunately made me stick to better situation games. Here we have a Dallas team that is overrated with Lots of questions and pointing fingers suddenly arising .Clearly pressure is on Dallas not on Frisco.After Zona and St Louis ,Frisco has gotten in a positive groove with Shaun Hill's pinpoint accuracy n' cool. BTW , Both Dallas n' Frisco scored 24 pts. allowing 30 at Zona. Throw in the current underdog double D trend ,as fuel to the fire in Singletary's eyes n' you got a live dog.Yeah Dallas is the better team but better teams always lose once in a while,like Dallas losing n' allowing 34 pts at St Louis followed by loss at Zona allowing 30 .BTW frisco allowed 16 scoring 30 vs St Louis last week.So stick that in your "Logic" cap and GL.
