    SEA -3 - EASY MONEY.

If this were anywhere but Seattle I think this would be a great game, but Seahawks win easily at home.

SF offense can't function with all of that crowd noise.  As it is, they're barely able to get snaps off before play clock expires because of all of the complicated adjustments they make at the line.

This game will be determined by field position and mistakes.  The sf disadvantage mentioned above means sea wins both of those battles and the game - lock it in.

Not sure where the line will go, but I feel very comfortable giving 3.  Would ride sea -7 for that matter.

That's a Niners line if I ever saw one. Only -3?  That's basically a pick'em considering home team usually gets 3 automatically. Seems to me they are dangling 3 out there hoping everyone jumps on it. Seems real low to me. I was thinking 6.5 sounded about right. Niners FTW.

Everyone was healthy when they lost 42-13 in sea last season.  Crabtree injured his shoulder early in today's game and didn't look right for the remainder - assuming that's who you're referring to when you say "everyone" is healthy, cuz everyone else played in their 29-3 behind whooping in sea this season.  Additionally Bruce miller is now out and likely so is will Tukuafu, his replacement in running situations.

It was the playoffs yesterday when sea beat no, pretty much always in the driver's seat.

I am gainfully employed, clearing six figures/year (hope you make more than me, but doubt it).

Come correct or stfu, ya bish!!!

Yeah i said last year, the nucleus of these teams remain the same.  Also, I'm not a seahawks fan, I actually hate them.  You on the other hand are sounding like a major homer/troll.

    Give me some analysis genius.

Not going to overthink this one either, SF +3.5/ Straight up/ ML whatever

Third straight championship game. Been there done that. 49ers know what it takes to win. Seahawks still has a ways to go. Last season lost in divisional, this time will lose in championship round. after being humbled at Seattle earlier this year, now it's the Niners turn to humble those arrogant Seacocks

Big difference between Saints, 49ers can run. and playing fundamentally better defense.
Sip on that plus money honey!

Seattle covers a td in this one to move on and meet the Patriots in Jersey.  Patriots win the Super Bowl though.   If this game was in seattle I would rethink this. But it's across the country.

My play = 2 equal wagers
                     Seattle -3 & over 39.5
                     Seattle money line

Patriots win Super Bowl (my only future bet)

Niners beat a weak GB injured Rodger's team , Carolina Cam "Wayne" Newton-2 goal line floops, both games on the road and now visits loud Century Link Field and 12th man. You dont think Beast Mode can run? I would take Beast Mode over fat behind Gore anytime.

I would take Wilson over "Kap wants tolick" anytime.

Seattle corners can play defense too.Boldin and I got "Crabs" will have a long day.

Playin in Seattle is no fun for visting teams.

Should be a low and close game.

Just cant see Niners winning 3 straight road games.

Iam taking the home team here.

    Seahawks 20-13

I know San Fran is playing great right now as opposed to early in the year. But I can't get the beatdown out of my head that Seattle put on them when the Niners played in Seattle earlier this season. They didn't just win. They destroyed them. The niners looked completely inept in every phase of the game.

When the two teams met in San Fran, Seattle was coming off a blowout at home against the Saints. It was a close game SF won by 2 points with Crabtree back at WR.

This will be a fairly close game IMO but I think Seattle will win by at least a touchdown. I am somewhat concerned about Seattle's offense, but I think being at home and understanding how good San Fran is now they will be extra focused and ready for this game.

Oh boy this ones so tough. Gonna wait for sammy and vues arrival and get their takes. Personally i think sf is the better team top to bottom, but seattle has the more cerebral qb (not the more talented one though), and they also have the uncappable 12th man. Winning at green bay and carolina is one thing, but seattle is a completely different ball game with that relentless noise....

Lets break it down a bit by position.

quarterback- wash. Ck is more talented and has more weapons, but my god wilson is definitely the smarter of the 2 that's unquestionable imo.

Running back- sea. Lynch isn't as long in the tooth as gore, gore is still awesome no doubt but lynch is still in his prime.

Tight end- sf. Vernon davis is always the best athlete on the field every sunday, and hell need imo at least 4 big catches in this game for sf to win.

Wrs- sf. Crabtree and boldin are superior to anything seattle can throw out there, but can they get open against the best secondary in the league, doubtful...

Offensive line- sf. Best o line in the nfl imo, has been for 4 years now and although seattles is also good they have shown signs of struggling this year.

    Defensive line- wash.

Secondary- huge advantage for seattle obviously. Niners secondary not terrible but not anywhere near as good as seattles. The niner secondary is truly the best secondary i've ever seen in all my years watching football. They have no weaknesses, they cover well, they tackle well, they hit hard, they play the ball better than any secondary ive ever seen.

Line backers- sf. Sfs linebacker core is the best in the nfl and this is not even close also. that is why i believe if sf is gonna win vernon davis needs to have a huge game and they need to find a way to get him matched up against linebackers.

    special teams- seattle.

Coaching- toss up. This is truly where this game could be won or loss. Carroll screwed up majorly in last years game against atlanta or seattle may very well have gone to the superbowl last year. He is an unbelievable motivator , but for my money i think harbaugh is the better game day coach.

intangibles- seattle. This is where having the more cerebral team comes into play, and for my money seattle is the smartest overall team in the nfl. Wilson lacks natural talent but he makes up for it with his brains.

Frank Gore cannot run the ball 9 times again if SF is to have any chance. That's what killed them earlier and those turnovers. That's where Russell Wilson has the advantage at QB, he doesn't throw many picks, a great game manager but at some point he's going to have to throw the ball a little more cuz Lynch can't do it all by himself. Lynch will get his yds(I don't think he'll rush for over 100) but 49er red zone defense has gotten much better. I'm impressed with 49ers defense . They are making plays, taking away the ball at crucial moments, I see that momentum carrying over and both defenses slugging it out. I'm seeing a 20-17 type game and game barely goes under. Game has gone under 4 times in Seattle with exception of that blowout victory by Seahawks last season. I think Kap & 49ers are ready to play. Almost every year one of the lower seeds gets in the big dance. Last year was Ravens, then Giants & Packers.. 49ers just might be next. Again , game is too close to call thats why they play these games but I like the resliency of them Niners

degen is spot on with his analysis of the 2 teams..I love the seahawks and they are in a great spot for this game, but this is the playoffs and this 9er team is on a mission! very talented and playing with a lot heart.. as much as I hate to say it I would take the points and the over..

Kapernick is a mental midget! He can't read defenses and he wilts inside hostile environments. Count on him to throw 2x ints before half-time. I could never put my money on him against that defense, (#1 pass), in that type of pressure/stadium.

Wilson on the other hand is a very intelligent game manager and just wins. 14-1 record playing at home. His only loss was an almost meaningless end of season game to Arizona (they won on a last minute comeback drive).

SF just like the Saints have shown they cannot win in Seattle.

Their last two games in Seattle:
    L 29-3
    L 42-13

People were all going crazy on this board before the Saints game ""Saints ML Huge!!". "It's different this time, they will be prepared!" No they won't. Shut-out again at half-time. Down 16-0. People just don't understand that environment. Yeah they got a late td (backdoor cover) in that game -- basically garbage time to make the score look closer than it really was. In reality it was another blowout. It was over by the 3rd quarter. People will need to learn this again.

Niners fans just like the Saints fans need to put their homerism aside here. They once again underestimated where the game was being played. Clink is worth at least 7-8 points alone. No joke! If SF would have claimed home-field this would be a different story.. but Seattle was obviously the better team during the season to earn it. SF's season ends this upcoming Sunday. Sorry folks!

Kaepernick has been absolutely brutal in his previous two starts at Century Link. Next Sunday is a defying moment of his young career. He must handle the 12th man and avoid the turnovers which the Seahawks have feast off of.

Seattle has no passing game... 49ers are a better all around team our outside recievers will be the difference along with Kaps play making ability, russel wilson doesent have Kapernicks big game experience i think that will show.

i think the niners are the easy bet here..they're the better team, period..they're hungry..they've been knockin on the door..as a pats fan, i hope i'm wrong..if the pats beat denver, which i don't think will happen, i'd much rather play seattle on a neutral zone..if the pats lose to denver. i'm goin heavy on niners

The 49ers have kind of became a problem for me from a wagering stand point. I was on the SF wagon way before anyone I know. I remember an early prediction that they would win the bowl the first time almost got me labeled crazy by many. When they started Smith over Kap I instantly said "they can't win a superbowl with Smith they need Kap". I loved to root for SF and Kap and their under dogg status. It was great to see them humble some of those big name teams with the big shot QB's. Oh how things have changed and how the love has turned so sour.
I find it hard to be sure that I want to pick the Hawks for their wicked D and their 12th man screwing with that complicated offence and all the other right reasons not just solely because I've begun to hate SF and their after the whistle non stop garbage. I know the Panthers deserved a little bit of it but come on that was just stupid. Anyways I think the Hawks are a different type of animal compared to those box-cats. They'll take the kill shot when they get it and won't let SF turn the momentum on them. I don't think that garbage talk will work with the 12th man in the building and one way SF turned that last game was by getting in the Panthers heads and frustrating them. Hawks should be able to cover those receivers just like Car did in the first Q.  Its going to be hard for SF to constantly adjust that offence with the 12 man too. They may pick up delay of games.
Like I said earlier though I'm not sure if I hate SF so much it's turning my wager but as of now I think 24-17 Sea so I guess thats an Over too (39 thought it would be 44) BOLTA

Mr.Harbaugh came out on top  more often than not when Stanford was coached by Mr. Harbaugh and USC was coached by Mr. Carroll.
In 2007, Stanford was a 40 point dog and won 24-23.
Usually, USC had the better personnel, but Mr. Harbaugh knew how to get the best of Pete Carroll.
More than likely he'll figure out a way to do it again.
Take Seattle at your own peril.
