What about looking at the coaches...I think Carrol has big experience, was a former defensive backs coach with the Bud Grant Vikings, and you know how those defenses played. I think the coaching edge goes to Seattle, on defense, I'm not big on, the former Jaguars coach....

What has Fox done in Carolina? Made it to the Superbowl and lost...Pete Carroll is "the ultimate players' coach" according Troy Palamou (Pittsburg DB from USC.)

I give the edge to Carroll, although Manning is actually the offensive coach, and in fall weather...Gets more interesting by the hour....Line in Philly Denver -3

Seattle has never won a Superbowl, one of 14 remaining teams...It's there time...Manning will be back next year with Von Miller plugging the middle so Lynch (if Seattle returns) will not run everywhere he wants! SEATTLE 32/ Denver 27

Man are people confused!!!  i saw a comment comparing what ranking offense and defense each team has played and if they beat team A and B then they would beat Team C... Thats all nonsense. The only way to Cap a Game Correctly is:

A) Look at Specific match ups between the teams (i.e. settles defensive line vs denvers offensive line and viceversa, etc. etc.)

B) Line movement.

C) Luck.

With that being said, i don't think denver will be able to stop Russ Wilson and company on offense and manning will be hurried just enough to get him uncomfortable, and the line started at -2 for the hawks and is currently +4 with 72% of the money coming in on denver.

Agree 100% buddy, people forget the Chargers shouldn't even have made it to the play offs, and a decimated patriots team with out their second best player (Gronk) and two very important players on defense (Talib and Wilfork) weren't very impressive wins in my opinion.

The feel good story will play itself out again as it always does year after year .......(ray lewis retiring,the rebirth of new orleans after the flood,the underdog rogers from community college to the pros) now it is the Mannning story ......I am 5-0 in superbowls ... Denver wins of course!!

It's clear that you want to avoid actual stats to support Seattle.  Maybe you love them, maybe you don't but it seems like you really HATE Denver.  I don't hate Seattle one bit, I believe they're a good team but also have their flaws, just like Denver except they have many more where it really counts.  It's these flaws that will dictate the game.  

Denver has proved they can outscore ANYONE, including other high powered offenses while Seattle has proved that they can only beat average ranked offenses.  Indy proved that you can score on this impressive secondary and score A LOT.  34 points is nothing to sneeze at.  When it came down to who can score more, they lost to Indy with weather not being an absolute factor.  Seems like they really should've had their "12th man" there, then maybe they would've had a better chance of winning.  

Wilson barely getting 200 passing yards against Denver will become an issue in this game.  Even when he and Lynch both ran for a couple over 100 yards which were both season highs for both men up till that point, they still LOST.  Yes they had the lead first but when it came down to the surprising passing game, which Seattle is known for defending against, got torched for 2 TD's to TY Hilton.  Where was Sherman in all of that?  I saw that he got BURNT in that game off the line.  Funny thing is that Denver is ranked 1 higher in overall defense in the regular season than Indy and only got BETTER!  Wow, not impressive at all huh?

Now imagine in that Indy game, they primarily had Wayne and Hilton as their best receivers.  That's 2, Denver has 4 receivers just as good if not better!  Keep trying to show me something that actually makes me believe that Seattle is an overall better team than Denver.

The reason Im taking Denver is actually because there defense they only allowed the patriots 16 points!!!!!! when does that happen !!! Denvers defense does struggle but these games have nothing to do with the super bowl the #1 defense vs the #1 offense the defense have won 3 of last 4 meetings but the seahawks have a lot of guys that have never even made the playoffs the broncos have experience and way more veterans I want to pick seattle but cmon its the most valuable player of the year MVP Peyton manning so my prediction 23 20 Broncos I don't see a blowout its going back and forth really close though

Show me a quality win.  This game is looking like FSU v Auburn except Seattle has a defense, #1 in the league last time I looked .  Denver still without two key players on their defense, Lynch will run, and so will Wilson when he needs too.  If Bronco receivers are shut down and they can't run, neither can Manning?

Seattle played down several times this year, one could argue they could have won the three they lost, all to eleven win teams.  Who did Denver beat this year, San Diego?

Sea +10 and under 54.5 - if Seattle wins/stays close its cuz of defense.

Den +4 and over 41 - Denver wins its cuz they're putting up 28-30 pts.

THANK YOU Im a Bears fan and I knew it wasn't going to be an enjoyable game to watch but now he has even more targets and a way better running game but don't underestimate the seahawks they have really surprised us coming back from a 21 0 deficit vs tampa bay beating the niners when the momentum was on their side but they cant stop manning but the defense for the broncos wins this game

Manning didn't carve up the Bears.  He had 1 td pass on busted coverage. 

Bears had 5 turnovers (Grossman era)

Whats ever it is the who rank what....offense/defense which ever team better than other team....Denver Broncos its just too easy to pick and Vegas wont let y'all win $ easy like that....just becareful!!! 1 or 2 holding or pass interference flags will change the whole game....There is a football game out there...which ever team have better momentum will win the game....GOOD LUCK FOLKS....I put $200 on SEATTLE hopefully defense can turn around the game...LOL...

Sadly it's hard to compare when both teams played extremely different schedules.  This IS the best test for both teams this year and I'm sure that ALL of us can agree on that fact.  

Denver never faced a top 3 defense nor has Seattle faced a top 3 offense.  This game will prove who is the better team.  

Next year these two are slated to meet again during the regular season, along with more higher powered offenses on Seattle's schedule.  Even though the schedule isn't out yet but the teams that are set to play against each other has been made already.  

It's hours till game time so BOL to everyone, may the better team win and cover the spread.

All the analysts are saying in their interviews that WILSON does not make mistages. He's conservative. As for the fumble...everyone fumbles (how many times has he fumbled?)

Seattle will not be blitzing much because their front four is facing a weakened denver offensive line. Their priority is coverage, and the problem for Seattle is covering 5 good receivers... If Denver gets that running game going it'll be tough for Seattle defensive line to get back to line of scrimmage for tackles...

Seattle's offense with Harmin will put up points....wilson running read option will set up trap plays and cut backs for Lynch, as wilson runs by design...When the denver defense comes up, which they are being told to maintain their coverage, and falls for run, Wilson will lob td passes to open receivers as Auburn did against Alabama..
