I saw enough from the chargers revamped, young and much more athletic defense monday night to think theyll keep this within 6 and compete in this one. Only thing that worries me a bit is seattle had extra time to prepare for this one, but harvin won't be as fast and explosive on grass as he has been on field turf in super bowl or in seattle. Rivers is a competitor and won't be afraid to challenge both sides of the field unlike rodgers was. Wise money is on chargers in this one whereas the public $20 bettors are on the hawks. Chargers plus 6 for a dime please.

Yep degenerate your not drinking the Seahawk kool aid.Especially when the Hawks are 1-9 ats away in a revenge game off a DD ATS win.

It should stay within 6.

In fact let's call this one our upset special

I'm chilling up a bottle of Arrogant person Ale for this one. Hopefully the Hawks don't spoil the Party.

Degengambler is right. This is a typical sharp vs square. I like taking teams that played good the week before but found a way to lose and are getting more than 4 points the next week, there is usually value in that but man Seattle is good. Chargers or no bet. Don't know if I want to pull the trigger on this one

Chargers aint winnin this damn game. Seatte and Denver will both go into their matchup the next undefeated.

Seahawks were successful on the road last season only lost 2 games... but I think they will have it tough this year. They will lose 4 games on the road... starting with... San Diego!  Haha jk

I think San Diego has a chance. They need this win. Phillips River isn't afraid to chuck the rock against Sherman and I think in the end it may cost them  but you have to be aggressive if you want to beat Seattle

I also wonder if the week and a half off will hurt Seattle's momentum and the short week will help San Diego be on edge after playing a hard fought game that they should have won

I like the Chargers and a pissed off Rivers getting 6 or more points. Just can't see this being another Seattle blowout no cuz we're not in Seattle anymore

Three factors to consider...

The better QB, DEFENSE, AND COACH will win this game.

How difficult will it be for Phillip Rivers to play on Sunday after playing on the road Monday night.  Does it really matter?  The chemistry was off for SD and Gates looked old. 

Got back to SD Tuesday morning, practice on Wednesday ??? 
Game plan on Wednesday and Thursday.
Practice on Thursday and Friday.
Walk through on Saturday.
1:00 o'clock kick off on Sunday.

Revenge factor for SD because they got blasted in preseason... I think not, because the starters didn't play...

SEA - 5, more than a field goal on the road.  DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS and this is only week 2.  This defense is extremely fast and out to prove a point this year.

Rivers wont be protected by that flimsy O line, he will be running for his life. Rivers becomes a pick machine when this happens.  SD ran less than 60 yards against AZ,   Laying the wood, SD is the same time zone and a short flight.

SD off a tough lost, Sea looking every bit like the SB winners of last year, low line, game in SD, should call SD the winner but damn hard to fade these birds!!!! I am as confused as the next man

I have been watching the chargers here in san diego, season ticket holder, chargers are going to get lit up by the sea hawks, I see a win by 2 touchdowns for seattle, and Russell Wilson will run all over these guys. they couldn't even catch carson palmer. not talented enough to be in the same building, rivers will be picked off at least twice, the defense will find ways to screw it up, running game will be shut down, final score 34-17 sea hawks

Charger fan.. But Seattle smashed them in preseason and won't be much different .... Sorry chargers but Seahawks - whatever

Seattle will win by 2 td's.  Did anyone see how frustrated Rivers looked against AZ?  I can't even imagine his frustration when Seattle gets to him...over and over again.

Scary public play tho... My theory here....Sometimes the PUBLIC is right, if not we would all be rich betting against them. 

I just cannot see Seattle allowing this game to be close.  GL

Last game was very UnChargerLike to say the least. Not a lot of passing yards for Rivers - Woodhead only had one catch for 6 yards for God's sake? I expect S.D. to open it up, and if there's one small guy in the armor of the almighty Seahawks, it's playing away from their precious 12th man. Look at all the road games last season that they either lost, or won by 5 or less:

Carolina - by 5

Crappy Houston Team - by 3 in O.T.

Indy - LOST

Crappy Rams Team - by 5

San Fran - LOST

now I'm not saying Chargers win, but I'll take the 5 and not sweat out any late game Seahawk kneel downs....

Or Rivers starts his O.K. Corral impression, throws 4 picks, then goes home and impregnates his wife for the eighth time. Either way........

Which team is hungrier to win this one and who is home ?

Bolts will likely be terminated by 2 nd round of playoffs , less Peyton Manning has season ending lobotomy .
Knocking off defending champs in this matchup gives not only Bolt fans hope but also plays to NFL / WW Wrestling $$$ scenario.
After all, controversy and upsets sell$ the product

I'm trying not to over think this. The Hawks are the better team in every facet of the game. They aren't traveling across the country to some top notch team, albeit the chargers are a good team with talent.

The key will be to make the chargers one dimensional and run the with Matthews. If the Secondary can bottle up the Charger recievers long enough for Hill and Mebane to take advantage of the back up center (Hardwick is out), then I think the Chargers become one dimensional.

Lets remember, This Seahawks offense is explosive, the question is whether the Chargers can stop the Beast, if they can, they will keep it close.

Side Notes:
-These two teams seem to play alot of very close games
- There will be thousands of Seahawks fans in attendance, I checked.
- For most teams, this could be a letdown spot with Denver up next week.

I'm still taking the Seahawks or its a no play, still thinking on it

I smell a rat,  overwhelming 75% on the HAwks and the line going the other way.  Damn,  I am all in on the HAwks already or I would  refrain from betting this game.  Half my bankroll on the Seahawks.
