Are the 49ers the best NFL team now? What a difference a week makes. Same for Seattle this week, stop the run and make Smith pass, they can win outright.

Line movement is pushing me towards the Over in this one....which is stupid cause Thurs Night always goes Under and not to mention you have two really good defenses. With that being said....the hard bets are the ones that win. Rolling with the OVER. SF ML

DAMN YOU 49ers.. Well small lost for me last week but understandable.  Start it out playing solid but everything was falling apart when Akers missed the field gold.  This is easily SF's worst game of this year but going against defending champ so shouldn't panic yet.  2 missed fg and 3 interceptions in an SF game is really bad.  But everytime they lost, they'll comeback with a lot of scoring.  So I expect SF to bounce back this week.

I just checked TheSpread.com and only 34% of public money is on the Seahawks at +7 1/2. That seems really low to me... I'm leaning Seattle here. I still have to decide if I want to put them on my 1/2 pt card, but I am definitely going to pick them on my Teaser card at +13 1/2. I can just see Seattle really frustrating the 49ers.

 

I think Seattle's defense will take a long look at how Minnesota played the 49ers in week 3 and use some of the same plays against them. And Seattle's personnel is better than the Vikings. I can also see some turmoil starting to develop with the San Fran's fans lack of faith in Smith and Harbaugh starting to mix Kaepernick in. I also have no faith in Smith... I might have just talked myself into picking the Seahawks. Yup, I did...

How do you go from the best team in the NFL to losing at home to the SeaChickens on a short week? you don't. SF played way too tight against the best road team in recent memory. Harbaugh blasts Seattle the same way he did the jets off a lose. 

Just a random thought about betting this week:

 

It seemed everyone was wrong last week. The house made a Ton of money! Only 3 favorites won ATS in week #6. I've never seen that happen before. Some of the games this year just really make me wonder if the games are fixed or not... Like the 49ers losing to the Vikings in week #3. Or the Colts beating the Packers in week #5... and then the Seahawks beating the Patriots last week. Each year there are usually 2-3 Major upsets, but we've already seen that many upsets and we aren't even half way through the year. And the biggest upsets usually come later in the year.

 

I went over all my old cards I've kept on file over the last two years... and there was only 1 week when only 5 favorites won ATS and that was last year. That is the fewest amount of favorites that have won ATS in a week... Until last week when only 3 favorites won. I went over all my cards (I have 23 from the last two years plus 6 this year not counting preseason) and on average 7.3 favorites win ATS each week. This also kinda leads me to believe that there will be a bounce back this week and I just have a feeling we're going to see 8-11 favorites win ATS this week (just a gut feeling).

Ya man....bet 8-11 faves this week and see how it works out for you. It's gambling....there is a first for everything, there are "deviations" from the mean or "outliers", however it doesn't mean you adjust by picking a bunch of faves the next week even if your gut tells you. Vegas always favors dogs and unders, that is gamblers 101. So never should you pick a large number of faves in a week because the previous week the faves didn't cover. That logic doesn't make sense.

Last week was a fluke.. Sf was cold, defensively couldnt stop the giants run, which led to getting lit up by Eli, Gore only ran 36 yards?!   Vernon Davis was no where to be seen..Kaepernick makes no sense in there offense, Akers missing field goals, The whole NINERS team was cold cold coldd.  So this week is a Short week, Seahawks on the road is a no no..  There defense is NOT THAT GOOD on the road. only BEST at home, they dont have the loud stadium to give them the advantage cuz their in NINERS HOUSE BABY! and If Sf can stop the run and play some good ol D and play their style football.  Odd are SF is going to blow them out!  Thursday Night if Niners can stop Lynch and their run game which they are capable of, then I can not see Wilson exploiting Sf pass defense.
