     As good as RGIII and the Skins have been to my wallet this season (A Prime Play last week), they are simply outgunned in this matchup. Seattle by 7-10 points.

Well good luck to you. I think you are underestimating the Redskins offense which has the #1 rushing attack in the NFL. Shanahan is very good in slowing down the game by controlling time of possession. Especially with 2 rookie QB's in this game it'll come down to turnovers & T.O.P. I luv the Seahawks defense but if they have one weakness it is against the run & Alfred Morris is no joke. I see this being a field goal game either way & I will take the home dog everytime. If Seahawks were at home then I would give the edge to them

Seattle feels like the team that's been going on the road in the past few years in the NFL and making it to the SuperBowl, so I have some $$ on them at 4 to 1 to do that, but if they don't, I don't think the Skins will be the team to stop them.

I loved watching Washington this year and had them last weekend, but like Easypics, was disappointed that they didn't dominate that game with their consistent style of play.  Despite the fact that the Romo debacle was ... enjoyable ... I didn't think we'd need it for the cover.

And I don't think they can win against Seattle in that fashion.

RG III is a hell of a play maker and displays a calm that's impressive for a rookie, but he's not completely healthy.  We saw that last weekend.  And Russell Wilson is actually having, arguably a better season. 

Seattle has been scoring in all 3 phases of the game, but their offense has been getting consistently better.

Putting up 50+ on anyone in the NFL is impressive, even if the competition was soft, and if they had just done it once, you could call it a fluke, but Seattle did it twice and then put up 42 on San Francisco, which is clearly, not an easy thing to do.

The Skins won the division and gutted out their big win of the year, but Seattle is the better team.

If RG III was healthier and making more explosive plays downfield they'd have a better shot, but winning this game in the trenches probably isn't going to happen.

I admit I liked Seattle better at -2.5, but still like them -3.

Seattle's so physical, and built to play playoff football. I'd be impressed if RG3 finished the game, let alone won it.

I'm sorry,but Seattle were 3 & 5 on the road this year,ans away from

home are a average team,so I am taking the home dog in this.

I just think the Redskins run game is going to give Seattle fits.

can't wait for this game... most intriguing matchup of the weekend by a huge margin... the other 6 teams playing this weekend at best a combined slim chance of cracking into either conf. championship game... but the winner of this game is a virtual lock to make it to the NFC championship game against (most likely) the 49ers...

wow terrible comment..... hawks 3 point fav on the road where everyone knows they suck, and a hot skins team..... the play is the hawks with 51 percent of covers only on the hawks...... oh mr OREGON .......... Roll Tide...... watch that monday night..... LOL

Dude, seriously RG3 has no time to heal for the game is this weekend! Where do you get off saying that he has several weeks to heal when they barely made it to the playoffs? Seahawks shutdown defense will end the redskins playoff picture.

Underrated? meaning the 28th D (yards allowed) or the 22nd D (points allowed)

They are in the bottom quartile of the league.......Seattle 24-16

Hello all! I suppose its time to throw my hat in this "handicapping" arena. I have been lurking in the shadows throughout the season reading these comments trying to determine who knows their garbage and have come to the conclusion that I can guess too! So here it goes....

This game is the toughest to pick of this weekends playoff games imo, even giving some of the crazy lines on the others. This spread seems to be right on the money and that worries me a bit. Seahawks D is very good, but RG3 can break them down fundamentally if he has a good game. I have to side on the better defense given Wilsons play at QB I'd call it a push at the QB position. Although Wilson hasnt been as flashy as RG3. Both have solid run games as well. I simply think the Seahawk D gets the best of the Redskins offense and that is the difference in a low scoring game. I'll take Seattle and give the 3 for my money.

Guys,There had been a previous comment made about Seattle having a losing record on the road,which they had(3-5),and that they

are favored in this game at Washington,so that person feels Seattle

is the play.

Well,I have knews for him,the oddsmaker has been wrong in setting

lines many times,as we all can attest to,and I feel they have set a

incorrect line here as well.

As far as I am concerned,Washington is the play,and strongly believe

they will win this game outright,and move on in the playoffs.

Playoff 6.5 point teaser special - pays +250. I did that because I really just wanted to assure that there's no shenanigans with the Texans and Ravens. All they basically need to do is win. I'm O.K. with everything else.

IMO last week's unimpressive win , do or die scenario vs hated and inconsistent Cowboys highlights fact that Skins have little to none time to adjust to Seahawks who have a far better defense ,QB and Running game than Cowboys. Face it,Skins have not faced a Russel Wilson type led attack while Seahawks have recently gotten a good taste of a running Kapernick RG3 type.
Last but not least,highlighting fact that Skins have a considerably weaker defense than Seahawks, can you see Skins scoring more than 20 pts vs Seattle D that has allowed 24 + points only once all year ? Bet on it : Seahawks will score 27 + points. Not so certain with Skins.

Brilliant cap as always.... I think Seattle Defense can shutdown the Seattle running game.... if there is a defensive minded coach taht can stop the read-option and slant route it's Pete Caroll.... out-side of the play-action that RG3 will not have time for (seattle's front line is impressive) there isn't much of a passing game....

Lynch will not be stopped..... Seattle's oline is one of the best in the league and I believe they will control the clock, and rush for more yardage than the skins top-ranked rush offense....

I'm unimpressed with Skins defense and althought the home-field advantage is big, and it's a rookie qb on the road (see Balt/Colts breakabookie post)..... I gotta roll with the hawks....

This team beat the pack (ok maybe not really) beat the 49ers, beat the patriots, and scored the most points in a 2 game stretch in nfl history....

I threw $50 on the hawks superbowl prop to win $700...  I wish I wagered more to start hedging, but I wouldn't here anyway....

I'm throwing a nickle on the Hawks.... I'm a believer in the running game.... they won't be stopped....

This isn't Tony Romo, can't blitz the seahawks every down...
