Last week my top play was Tampa Bay +7 vs Pittsburgh and they won that game straight up. (see my posts)
This week it's similar in the fact that I'm taking St. Louis +7. I can see them winning this game straight up versus Philadelphia, in fact I already made a decent sized bet at +256 ML Rams.
St. Louis is coming off a bye week and will be extremely focused and game plan oriented for this game. There's no better time to face a team like Philadelphia who play a high uptempo game then when you have time to plan (bye week), meanwhile Philly had to travel west to east after a bad loss to San Fran and is facing a number of injuries. Greg Williams no doubt took note of their play last week and will be ready to shake things up vs. Foles and company come Sunday. St. Louis is healthy and rested and have had to sit on that horrible loss to Dallas until now. Linebackers Ogletree and Laurinatis will be dominant and the D-Line will get good push. Philly is banged up and won't be ready for this tilt. They didn't even score an offensive touchdown at all last week.
St. Louis +7 all day.

Good thoughts, I am with you. I expect the run game of the Rams to have a solid game as well. If Rams get in front early, they will have no problem milking the clock. I am waiting a bit longer on the bet, I anticipate being able to get a better price on it sometime before Sunday.

Going Philly here...Rams might do what they did against Dallas take the first half and Philly comes back 2nd half like all the other games besides the 49ers game.

I'm on Philly after what they didn't do last week.
PHILLY -7
Chip Kelly's still got that college mindset, work hard during the week on your weaknesses.. A total of 22 yards rushing against the Niners? 22 yards??? If McCoy or Sproles is on your fantasy bench, get 'em off there for this week. It's gonna be run, run, run, run some more, Run-DMC and Jam Master Jay, oh and run the football..... Rams pass "D" ranked 3rd, but rushing "D" is 30th out of 32 teams.....
I'm always leary of the Rams covering, and I'm thinking about that half point hook, but I just see this game getting ugly - ground and pound ugly.... and low-scoring
Philly -6.5

I think the Eagles are talented yes but a little overvalued in my opinion. they almost lost to a Jags and Redskins squad that ain't worth a squat, should've lost against the Colts. this team could have easily been 0-4 but to their credit they fought back and had luck on their side.
heck the Rams might be a better road team than they are at home. Was thinking of an Eagles win but Rams cover scenario but the fact that the Rams got torched on the ground by Murray makes me leary of backing the Rams. the Eagles run defense isn't that much better either. don't know if Rams will let Zac Stacy run wild but this will be the softest run defense they will face and they'd be crazy not to
wonder what Jeff Fisher's ATS after a bye week. gonna think this through a bit more but leaning Philly..
Sip on that plus money honey!

Seeing how over 70% consensus here is backing the Eagles makes me like the Rams that much more. Fisher knows how to prepare for road games. Eagles coming off a brutal faraway road loss. I even like Rams to win this game straight up.

Fisher is 8-3 ats after bye week since 2002. 2-0 ats as coach of the Rams. Half of Eagles starting o-line is missing and they struggled to protect Foles against Niner front seven making him force his throws. Rams front seven haven't been making plays like last year but I think they put pressure on Foles and Robert Quinn gets his 1st sack of season.
Believe or not Rams have more total yards of offense than the Eagles high flying offense. Both haven't ran the ball well and both teams struggle against the run.
Gimme Rams +6.5
And sprinkle some of that ML for a possible upset!

To many variables. Rams have been unpredictable this year. Anything could happen with this game. This will come down to which team brings their A game. Staying away.

OK, third time is the charm... Covers technology is really sad that it won't let me cut and paste from a Word document...
Nick Foles will come back strong and the Eagles offense is too talented to not put up some serious point on the Rams defense. The Rams run defense is terrible, once McCoy gets going the Eagles offense will find its rhythm. The Eagles are the better team. Plus count on the Eagles defense and special teams to be responsible for putting at least 10+ points on the board. Foles will throw for 400+ yards and 4 or more TD's... The Rams have never seen an offense that runs as fast as the Eagles does... This game will be over by halftime.
For easy money take the Eagles to score Over 30 points.
I'm also taking the Eagles up to -13.5.
Prediction: Eagles 41 Rams 17
Good Luck To Everyone!
Let's Make Some Money!!!
