The Colt's are gonna cover and win on this one easily.  Tennessee is a joke and this crappy team is not going to cover playing down in Indianapolis.

Tennessse's dline Jason Jones big part of that Defense will be out and Michael Griffin looks to be as well he's a big  part of their secondary and has improved his play over the 5 game win streak. The Titans started at the 1 twice because of how bad their special teams is. Case in point 99 yard drive. I suspect Griffin to be out and for Manning to attack. People are buying too much into their 5 game win streak but Manning will take care of them early and the Colts defense who plays fast has always shut down Chris Johnson in 2 games that he has played against them. Colts win by at least 2 touchdowns. Colts just find ways to win period.

coolcat is right, Titans won't cover in the "Can ".  Colts continue to roll and like I said in an earlier post, VY and his magical ride comes to an end Sunday !

   THE HEART OF TENNESSEE TITANS IS DEFINITELY VINCE YOUNG AND HIS RESPECTABLE COMEBACK. AFTER SIX STRAIGHT LOSSES THE COACHING STAFF DECIDED TAKING K. COLLINS OUT AND STARTING V. YOUNG. BOTH DEFENSE AND OFFENSE HAS IMPROVED THERE STATS 100% SINCE THEN. THEY HAVE ALSO WON THE LAST FIVE IN A ROW AGAINST SOME TEAMS THEY HAVE LOST TO EARLY IN THE SEASON WITH COLLINS AS QB.  TWO OF THE GAMES AS UNDER DOGS. "THAT IS HOW YOU KEEP THE STARTING POSITION" ESPN ANNOUNCER SAID LAST WEEK. 

   THE DEFENSE GAVE UP 37 POINTS PER GAME WHEN COLLINS WAS THE STARTING QB. HOW DOES THE QB AFFECT THE DEFENSE? WHEN YOU CAN'T KEEP YOUR OFFENSIVE PLAYERS ON THE FIELD BY ACCOMPLISHING FIRST DOWNS CONVERSIONS AND MOVING THEM UP FIELD, YOUR DEFENSE HAS TO PLAY THAT MUCH MORE. THUS GIVING UP MORE POINTS BECAUSE OF FATIGUE.
 
   VINCE YOUNG AS THE STARTING QB AVERAGING 7.65 YRDS PER COMPLETION AND A RESPECTABLE 62.88%. THE DEFENSE IS NOW GIVING UP ONLY 18.2 POINTS PER GAME. THAT IS ALMOST 100 % BETTER. THE MORE THE OFFENSE IS ON THE FIELD, THE DEFENSE GETS TO REST AND ABLE TO PERFORM WHAT THEY NEED TO DO AND THAT IS TO STOP THE OPPOSING TEAMS OFFENSIVE ATTACK. I'M SURE THE DEFENSIVE PLAYERS APPRECIATE THAT. NOT ONLY ARE THEY GETTING BETTER STATS BUT ALSO GAINING A LOT OF CONFIDENCE IN TIME FOR THE PLAYOFF SEASON. THEY ARE NOW TIED WITH HOUSTON, SAN FRANCISCO, AND THE MIAMI DOLPHINS WITH A 5-6 RECORD IN THE HUNT FOR A WILD CARD.

  AS FAR AS THE OFFENSE GOES IT RANKS AT #14 OUT OF 32. THE TITANS HAVE THE #1 RUNNING BACK IN THE NFLBY THE NAME OF CJ JOHNSON. HE IS LEADING THE LEAGUE WITH 1396 YARDS IN RUSHING. EVERYONE KNOWS IN ORDER TO HAVE A GOOD PASSING GAME, YOU MUST SET IT UP BY SECURING A RUSHING THREAT. CJ JOHNSON ALSO HAS TOUCHDOWN RECEPTIONS UNDER HIS BELT. VINCE YOUNG MOVES AROUND IN THE POCKET LIKE HE DID WHEN HE PLAYED FOR THE TEXAS LONGHORNS. HE WILL RUN THE BALL IF HE NEEDS TO AS WELL. THROWING THE BALL TO MULTIPLE RECEIVERS AND A RUSHING GAME PLAN WILL KEEP ANY TEAMS DEFENSE ON THEIR TOES. 

  GOING DOWN TO INDIANAPOLIS WILL DEFINITELY BE VINCE YOUNG AND THE TITANS DEFENSE HARDEST TEST SO FAR. AN UNDEFEATED COLTS TEAM AT 11-0 IS A GAME THAT WILL SHOWCASE HOW GOOD VY REALLY IS. MANNING AND COMPANY ALREADY BEAT DOWN ON THE TITANS 31-9 IN THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON AT HOME. THIS IS PAYBACK TIME FOR THE TITANS AND IT COULDN'T BE HARDER PLAYING THE DIVISIONS #1 TEAM AS WELL AS AN INDI HOSTLE CROWD. THE TITANS COME INTO THIS GAME AS A 7 POINT UNDER DOG AND MANY THINK THAT THEY HAVE THE CHANCE TO WIN STRAIGHT UP. THAT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE. IT IS NOT BECAUSE I AM A SAINTS FAN, BUT BECAUSE IT MAKES A GREAT STORY.

THIS HAS GOT TO BE A BETTER GAME TO WATCH THAN A BUNCH OF NONSENSE GAMES OUT THERE. AT LEAST WE HAVE 2 TEAMS THAT IS STRIVING FOR SOMETHING. IT SEEMS LIKE THIS WEEK IS THE UNDER WORLD, GAMES WON BY UNDER DOGS AND MANY GAMES GOING UNDER TOTAL POINTS. THE GAMES THAT GO OVER IS USUALLY MUCH MORE EXCITING DONT YA THINK? Indy going for a record 6th straight 4th quarter comeback.  Over seems like a lock--EXCEPT that Under is 8 and 1 in last 9.

The Titans play their first game agianst a team with a defense. The Colts have one of the best defenses in the league and I'm finding it hard for the Titans to run on them. Don't expect much out of CJ I think he gets held to 60 yards total, and this will be Young's game to win again. I just don't see that happeneing in Indy, the pressure gets too much for the Titans. One thing that the Titans don't have that the Colts do.. Peyton Manning!! I think the Titans get shut down on offense early, and Manning and the Colts  move the ball against the Titans with ease! Colts 33, Titans 6.

Playoffs begin today for Titans but Scary how Peyton needs just a few ticks to pull it off vs. any team, especially vs. very weak Tenn. secondary.Can Titan's double headed dragon of CJ Johnson n' Mobile V.Young tire down mighty Colts ?
Nice story angle indeed,overlooked too many times with greater percentage of cappers essentially guided by stats .
When G-Men went to New Orleans, went big against my Gigantes,figuring Brees n' Shockey would have a field day,
did post how game was New Orleans golden opportunity to rise from Katrina devastation,making bonafide statement as being one of THE best in the league.A nice story...
Forum Schlock was received for Katrina angle but in reality it seems inevitable that if any team deserves to win it all,
 Would have to be the Saints,in what I'm still hoping to be the year 
for New Orleans...Café de la paix,playin'  blues on Bourbon Street,drinkin' Hurricanes...

TENNESSEE is probly the most over rated team right now, almost LOST straight up to a Warner-less Cardinal team!!

and now... they have to face Peyton Manning on the road!!


Hah.. CJ is gonna have to rush fro 120, and receive 6 - 10 screens/flats for another 100 yds just to have a shot...

The TENNESSEE secondary will not be able to caontain this passing game, perhaps Finnegan will lock down Reggie, but then there is Garcon and Clark to worry about..

since the PATS slaughter.. TENN has done better on D but look at the teams they played! the only qualityt opponent was Houston whom they held to 17...

beside Houston, they played BUF, JAX, Warner-Less ARI, and SF ( who was able to hang 26 on TENN !! )

All lackluster offense with NO consistency on the year

Tenn believes they can make the playoffs, and there does seem to be some magic in what is happening down there.  I'll take the points and hope that Indy doesn't bottle up the run like they did in the first contest of the year with Tenn.  I wouldn't be surprised to see Tenn beat Indy outright!  As a matter of fact, look at the payout on a Tenn/Atlanta ML parlay.......it might be worth a few bucks today!!!!  Indy hasn't been dominant for a month and usually lose about this week every year and Philly isn't as good as they think they are and they are on the road favored against a team that needs to win to keep pace with them in the wildcard.  I'm not sayin......I'm just sayin.

Why would bet against Peyton Manning at home? I'll stay away from this game. My thoughts are that I think Tennessee's ride is over today in big way.
