It isn't going to double digits- since it has opened I have seen the line drop from 9 to 8 and 7.5 in some cases. Want the double digits but this points even more to Detroit with initial plays at 90% on Washington. Maybe a Detroit ml play(which a rarely do).
Gotta watch this line movement throughout the week but right now Detroit looks like a strong play.
Not to mention that last week the Skins dominated that game against the Browns but let them hang around all game- could come out with a pass heavy offense to catch the Lions off guard is my only problem. Even if that is the case though- the Lions can score some points on offense at home- especially in garbage time. With that said my initial lean on the o/u in for the Over.

Wash won't cover this number. this team is becoming the classic play-up/play-down team. Losing games they have no business losing and winning outright the last two times listed as a dog. Det D has improved last three games, covering the last 2 games while Wash has failed to cover the last 2 games. This team is just not going to play to their potential against the lowly lions. I'm smelling a backdoor cover...

Kevin Smith averaging over 8 yds a rush the last 2 weeks.  He should get more carries.   Think washington plays down to the competition.

i think the organization has been scouting the punter from syracuse. He could make a difference seeing that hes really experienced and they will need that role filled for obvious reasons

Washington should win this game outright, Detroit is garbage.  But I think they will win by a TD or FG.  Washington has yet to beat a team by more than 7 points and that was at home against Arizona.  Fumbles may be a big factor also, they committed 6 in their past two games at home.  The line is at 9 now, so I might wait and see if it goes higher.

I live in Detroit and BELIEVE me the Lions shot their load the last 2 weeks- covered against Minny and Houston. This game will be a blowout and over at the half. Take Washington and lay the 9!! Orlovsky has NEVER seen a D like this and will throw 2-3 picks!!

are we all talking about the same skins here? the one that lost to st.louis? the one that almost lost to the lions. They make shitty teams look half decent.

washington ownes detroit !!!  I say Owns Owns them time and time again They will cover this only because sucks again this year skins need to prove they can win on the road I wont be betting it but if i had to it would be the skins

Washington only plays good enough to win by 7 or less it seems to me. I agree that Detroit is trash but I dont think Wash can cover 9 here. No play yet but a real lean on Det +9...

Washington in a rout. The Lions covered the last 2 weeks. Big deal! Against Houston and Minny. Two teams that have 3 covers between them. Combined 3-11 ATS. They covered against 2 bad teams. Wash gets the early lead and all of the fight goes out of the Lions. GL to all...

Lions suck.  But they have showed some, but not many, improvements in the past few weeks.
