The Raiders and then a depleted Packers. Nick Foles & Co. will finally face a true test in a divisional rival. And I don't think they cover the FG.....

The Eagles have one of the most baffling streaks going. They have now lost their last 10 home games dating back to October of last year. They have also gone an incredibly bad 0-11-1 against the spread at home during the last 2 seasons. Thats right folks....they haven't covered a single game at home over the last 2 seasons.
I think it just might be the time to put on that contrarian hat, and go against this trend. The Eagles have looked like a much better football team over their last 2 road games. Granted it was against the Raiders and the Arron Roger-less Packers....but whoever said winning on the road was easy.
At least they are running the ball effectively, and Foles (who may not be the hallmark of consistency) is not turning the ball over like his predecessor, Mike Vick. I think the Eagles will finally give their fan-base something to cheer about, and get above the .500 mark. With the Giants possibly making a 2nd half push, they can ill afford to be complacent, and lay another stinker at home.
It also helps that they have Michael Vick, who can probably do a decent job of simulating RG III in practice. I am taking the Eagles, and will hope that they ride the momentum from their 2 previous road wins, and the law of probabilities kicks in & the 2-year ATS drought at home ends this Sunday.

Too many things to mention: in favor of the Redskins & against Philly. Interesting tidbit from my computer:going back since Nov. of 2012, Nick Foles has been 0-7 both SU and ATS at home. By the HC Chip Kelly is also 0-4 ATS at home.

Upset special. Redskins with a healthier RG3 and although their D is atrocious, this team now knows what this Eagles O is about (compared to game 1). This is a must win for both. I just feel the Redskins are the better team here. Redskins come out and dominate 35-17.

I know bro, I feel sorry for the fans in Philly. How long has it been since they've seen their team play well at home? Too long. I still remember that game when Dallas came to town though back in 2011....I had a hefty sum placed on the Eagles -3 and they absolutely dominated Dallas.

Home loss streak ends this week after Desean pleads for the fans to be better. Chip kelly has figured out how each skill player best fits in the offense and its evident in the recent explosion in productivity in riley cooper.
Are most of you forgetting that the redskins have been lit up in the past few weeks by Josh McCown and Christian Ponder, as well as only getting one road one this season.
Eagles -4.5
Easy money, forget the trends. This game goes just like other Eagles/Skins games. Desean walks backwards into the endzone and the Eagles lock this up in the first half.

Foles throws 4 more TD passes, no interceptions. Eagles defense holds the Redskins offense in check... Washington scores an easy, pointless 10 points late in the game after the Eagles are up big. RG3 will also throw 2-3 interceptions in this game.
This is the Eagles coming out party... and Nick Foles stakes his claim as the Eagles franchise QB.

What's up Matt?! I havent seen you on here for a while! I noticed you're one of our covers experts now on some of the teams. I also know that you know the Eagles well, so I might have to take your and go with those Eagles. I had the Redskins on my teaser, but I think you're right here, I had a strange feeling this could be a blowout for the Eagles. Just when you least expect it.
Hope you're doing ok with everything else and recovering from Sandy well.
Take care

The Eagles are in the playoff hunt a lot more than the Redskins. The Eagles and Foles have been playing well, as of late. The Eagles have not won a single home game this year, they are over due. I'm taking the Eagles. Good luck!

I rarely and I mean rarely post on here but yet respect and take advice From certain guys quite often on this site. That said I am a life long die hard birds fan till the day I day as excruciating as it is ( trust me it is ). This is the perfect lay down game for this team, I knew they would blow the raiders out bc no one saw it coming then we got Seneca ( Iowa st was a long time ago) Wallace for an easy win. If I could bet against them I really really would but I just can't do it. Foles is a fraud and if big red were still in town we'd be getting a 2cd and a 3rd round pick for the guy this offseason. The skins win this game 27-17
