The angle is birdie makers. Not a fan in any way but very impressed with RCB he tied for 2nd most birdies yesterday at 6, with only 1 bogey. Finau had 6-2 and Spieth had 7-3 (should have been 7-2 in not such a bonehead showman). From past experience, you have to be able to get birdies here. Big concern with Justin Thomas in that regard, this is his third trip here and is still not showing an ability to score. I am hoping Matsuyama's putter gets bent back into shape, he has shown in the past he can score here but he missed a bagful of opportunities on his way to 13 straight pars yesterday. That wrist is fine, his iron play was off the charts. Don't fault anyone for taking Garcia at +130 vs J. Thomas (only 2 birdies). Does he care though? Fleetwood had 5 birdies, just needs to make a few less mistakes. Becareful of VJ Singh, he had 5 birdies some of the toughest holes...he can put these greens.
Only 4 eagles on the par 5s yesterday, only 1 on the front (Spieth) and 1 on the back by Sandy Lyle. Good luck.
