Horschel &#x2B;120 v An  Horschel plays great here and has been better of late.Horschel is 29th on Tour for Strokes Gained off the tee, and 27th for strokes gained putting.Top 10s in 4 straight years.  T4 here last year.An has been good lately, but has been travelling back and forth from Europe and may be weary.  Also An has no history here.Berger -110 v AnBerger loves this place too having won this event the past 2 years!Thornberry &#x2B;140 v GayThornberry is just starting his PGA career.Last year he played 1 event on a sponsor exemption, and yes, it was this Fed Ex St. Judes tourney.  He played great finishing T4, but unfortunately for him, he couldn&#x27;t receive the $250k in prize money because he was an amateur.Thornberry won the NCAA 2017 Mens individual.  Obviously very talented.This week he just qualified for the US Open at Shinnecock shooting 68,66.  Sam Burns was the other qualifier.Brian Gay?  Average player at best.MC here last year at &#x2B;4.This is an overlay at Gay -160 Thornberry at &#x2B;140.  Should be closer to even.

This looks real good.

Phil's last 5 years here he hasn't been worse than T11 while Finau has never played here.

And Phil is in good form gearing up for the Open.

Last week at the Memorial Phil was T13 despite an opening round 74 where from 9-18 he was +6!.

Without that stretch he may have won.

2 weeks prior he was T5 at Wells Fargo.

Phil seems to gear up for the majors by playing well leading up.

In the interest of Full Disclosure, Andy and I had discussed the picks early Tuesday and he was the 1st one on both Phil and Horschel, which I totally agree with for the reasons in my writeup.

After an awful start Thornberry may get the money after all against Brian G@Y. Now we are up 2 heading to Sunday at +140

Could make for a good week with Phil and Horschel getting the money already.

Very fortunate on Phil v Finau

Good thing Finau MC by 1 as Phil sucked RD3 at +3.

Finau missed a 6’ par on 17 and a 9’ bird on 18 to MC by 1.

Feel like had Finau been on other side of cutline and gotten an early tee time RD3; he might have gone low and Ben ahead of Phil.

G@y boy buried a 163 yard eagle on 13 to leapfrog Thornberry who then proceeds to get a 7 and fall 4 back only to lose by 2.

Didn’t expect G@y to do that well. +140 was looking good heading to rd4 up 2 strokes.

On to the Open

Still a good week and maybe fortunate to hit Horschel and Phil v An and Finau, respectively. The latter both MC by 1 by missing shortish putts on 18. If they’d have been around for the weekend, who knows what happens.
