To start off, I have been cold so I am probably fade material...
Through the first two rounds, Hurley III has had 14 holes under par, 10 holes over par, and just 12 holes with par. Erratic scoring to say the least.
Through the first two rounds, Herman has had 6 birdies, 3 bogeys, and 27 pars. Much more consistent.
Both guys sit at -3 for the tourney so this is close to a coin flip. But I will take a shot with the guy hitting more fairways and greens.
Another angle I like in this situation are the playing partners for both guys. Hurley III is paired with Chad Collins this round. Collins has made just 2/9 cuts this year. Needless to say, I think he will be feeling some tension and pressure this weekend to finish well. Herman is paired with Adam Scott, who won this thing last year. I feel that group's can elevate one another, at the same time they can also bring them down. I am hoping Scott elevates Herman and Hurley III feels some of that tension that Collins is feeling. Just my two cents good luck whoever you decide to play tomorrow.

Thanks Sacker I appreciate it. I ended up being wrong on Collins. He had a double early but dug in and shot well. Going to dive into tomorrow's match ups. Good luck!
