He's had a strange life. Got kicked off the UGA golf team for a couple of alcohol related incidents which forced him to play at Augusta State where he led them to 2 national championships. Has been estranged from his parents since 2011 and neither side wants to talk about it. He was unofficially adopted by his wife's family who have continued to distance themselves from Reed's own parents (they weren't invited to the wedding ). It's just a little weird that it's all been swept under the rug. It looks like Reed has moved on from whatever demons plagued him.
