what gets me is the reason this happened is because TWO PEOPLE phoned augusta complaining.....like who the fukk has that time to call in and whistleblow when the officials can't catch it themselves....what a joke lol
Exact reason why Rule 33 was put in place...to protect players from TV watchers who have nothing better to do. It's like they think by catching it, their name is gonna get posted and some reward will be given.

it's fukked....not only did one guy call, another guy calls at 10 pm that night....ppl love to hate the guy. guaranteed its a personal vendetta, not even for fair golf

There's a huge majority that no doubt hates the guy. My entire family loves golf. I love Tiger for what he's done for golf, his attitude on the course and do anything attitude to win. I don't give 2 shits to the wind what the guy does off the course. I think any man who cheats is a box, if you're gonna cheat...be a friggin man and end the relationship before you go get behind. This goes for ANYONE who cheats.
My Dad who is a scratch golfer, has played on some mini tours...likes Tiger...but loves Couples (Obviously since we are from the Seattle area)
Mom loves Mickelson, for no other reason than she hates Tiger and Mickelson is his supposed rival But, she only hates Tiger because of what did OFF the course. Women have a whole different insight into it...lol

The Masters officials did NOT want him DQ'ed because if Tiger's DQ'ed the TV ratings get cut in (aprox) half. I'm willing to bet big $$$ that Tiger didn't confer with officials about his 'bad drop'on Saturday after his round.
It's a contrived story that both parties benefitted from.
