favorites are George Coetzee @ 8-1 with Alex Bjork @ 16-1 and Julian Suri, Erik van Rooyen and Marcus Kinhult all @ 20-1
played these tourney match plays
Alex Bjork +120 over George Coetzee Erik Van Rooyen -110 over Richard Stern Julian Suri +130 over George Coetzee
I am NOT sold on Coetzee who got tied 8th last week in Qatar [-14] BUT was CUT DDC, CUT Abu Dhabi, T-54th SA Open [-2] and T-30th Joberg [-18] before that
Alex Bjork has been solid three of his last four T-19th Qatar [-11] T-12th Oman [-8] CUT Maybank T-6th DDC [-16]
Erik van Rooyen 2nd Joberg Open [-20] tied 20th SA Open [-9] and tied 59th at Qatar [-5] where he was tied 2nd going into the weekend BUT "blew up" Saturday and Sunday
Julian Suri CUT last week Qatar. played three PGA tourneys before that and made two cuts. T-2nd Hong Kong [-10] T-8th DP World [-16] T-42nd Nedbank [+4]. traveling from the US back to Qatar probably had his "body clock" all messed up. should be OK this week
chanced these "to win" bets for small "sprinkles"
Nino Bertasio @ 60-1 (T-5th Maybank [-16]) Julien Guerrier @ 60-1 (3rd Oman Open [-13]) Chase Koepka @ 80-1 (T-7th SA Open [-13]) Tapio Pulkkanen @ 100-1 (T-3rd Joberg [-17])

well so much for Chase Koepka who "blew up" the 1st round [+6]
match plays after 1st round Alex Bjork +120 [even] over George Coetzee [-4] Erik Van Rooyen -110 [-3] over Richard Stern [-4] Julian Suri +130 [-6] over George Coetzee [-4]
Suri's [-6] puts him tied 2nd one shot behind South African "field hand" Louis de Jager (OWGR #547)

WOW!!! OK, WHO gave George Coetzee the "Jack Nicklaus Tonic" ??? 2nd round [-7] for tourney [-11] and 1st place going into the weekend. BOTH my match plays AGAINST him are a washout. Suri "blew up" his 2nd round with [+3] for [-3] and Bjork stinking [+1] for [+1]. only GOOD news is Van Rooyen leads Stern [-6] to [-2]. looks like the CUT will be [-1] which leaves Bjork out

well it is George Coetzee tourney to win with a 3rd round [-3] for tourney [-14] and a two shot lead over Finlander Mikko Korhonen and Sam Horsefeld. four more back at [-10] including Eric van Rooyen.
looks like my match plays are set. Alex Bjork was a CUT and Julien Suri [-2] both losers to George Coetzee while Eric van Rooyen [-10] should handle Richard Stern [-3] with ease

Coetzee went into last week playing terribly but played well and beat us (Wang) last week.
I, just like you, was pissed at this turnaround in form and chased the bet and went small against Coetzee again. On reflection that was a mistake bc Coetzee was good last week.
But at least Van Rooyen hits (had him against sterne and Kinhult) and had Otto against McClatchie so made a bit on Europe.
Hopefully we will hit the PGA Mexico plays.

Ya Sacker17. Hero Indian Open next week. I need Shubhankar Sharma this week in Mexico to win a DIME but looks like he is gonna "blow up". I am sure he will be the favorite in India next week
