WGC match play single round match ups

Two WGC match play single round only plays for me today:

Leishman +100 vs Watson: Watson putted insanely well in the first round and had seven birdies the first nine holes... I think a reversion back to more of a norm in round 2... Plus I liked Leishman this week after his solid showing last tournament. I will take a shot at +100

Hatton -150 vs Steele: Steele did not seem very comfortable with this format. Hatton is very solid and I think he enjoys this type of golf. This is much more of a gut play than anything else for me...

Two more WGC plays for today:

Fritelli -115 vs Sharma: this match is technically meaningless as both guys are eliminated from the "sweet 16". So why make a wager on this match? Fritelli went to school  at the Univ of Texas and is hoping to close on a residence there shortly. Being 0-2 already so far, I think he will want this more since he is hoping to be from the area. Thought is professional pride may kick in and at near a pick, I will take a shot in this match based on this angle.

Hatton -170 vs Hoffman: Hoffman is struggling this week and Hatton played really well on the back 9 Thursday. Hoffman is eliminated and Hatton needs a win to secure  his spot in the sweet 16, the price is high but willing to pay it in this scenario with a struggling opponent.

Went 1-1 on Thursday breaking even....

If Steele beats Levy and Hatton Loses to Hoffman, then Steele and Hatton have a plauoff to see who moves on. To your point, if the Steele match ends early with a Levy win, it'll make Hatton's match meaningless. Not a must win but Hatton should be trying to avoid a playoff.
