Phoenix put up 124 against the NBAs no.1 Defense and won that game by 24. Wizards were 6 pt favorites last time out and couldnt contain the Celtics. Line seems a little fishy to me and I think Vegas set this line too low. Suns -4.
Pelicans are missing Anderson and Holiday terribly and are averaging less than 95ppg in their absence. Pistons are playing decent basketball and unless the Pelicans can score 100+, theyll have a tough time in MoTown. Pistons -4 Lakers are a feisty young team that was able to keep up with the Heat in Miami last night the entire game. Theyre taking way too many 3s in my opinion, but their style of offense will be too difficult for the Magic to keep up with. They are 1-4 SU in their last 5 at home and with a line set as low as -2.5 for the Magic, whoever covers that spread wins the game. Lakers +2.5 Good luck everyone. |

2-0 last night. For those that tailed, awesome. Those that didnt, tonight should be just as good.
No time for writeups today, just quick stats 1. Cleveland and Chicago have played 3 times this season with the home team winning all matchups. Cleveland is 4-1 ATS in L5 at home but Chicago is 4-1 in L5 on the road but had trouble against garbage teams. The line just keeps climbing for the Cavs. Cleveland -4.5 2. Indiana and Phoenix Overs are both 4-1 in their last 5. Phoenix off some rest. The total was set too low. Over 195.5 Good luck everyone

4-2 yesterday, hitting the two evening games after starting 2-2 in the afternoon. 5 games on the board tonight and here are my plays.
1. Brooklyn is coming off a blowout win at New York yesterday afternoon and have now covered 5 straight as a favourite. They are also 2-0 this season as a favorite of 8+. This is the back end of a back to back but after an afternoon win and just a few miles of travel time from MSG to Brooklyn they should have enough rest for tonights game. Orlando is 0-5 SU and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games, 3 of which were spreads of 11+. They snapped their 10 Game losing streak at home against the rebuilding Celtics and I dont see them carrying any of that momentum into Barclays Center tonight. Nets -10 2. New Orleans and Sacramento both rank at the bottom of the NBA in Opp PPG at 24th and 28th respectively, and both are at the bottom in Opp FG% at 26th and 28th. The last 5 times these teams met the score has sailed over the total and at the moment both teams are averaging 100+ PPG. New Orleans on the back end of a back to back and were held to 95 pts in their win over Memphis. The Grizzlies are the 4th best D in the NBA, so I dont see the Kings containing New Orleans and vice versa. Over 204 Good luck everyone.

Took the weekend off from the NBA and focused on NFL and didnt do too badly.
Early games today and there are some good ones on the board. 1. Cavs have played fairly well during their west coast road trip and have shown up in games against Portland and straight up wins at Denver and LA Lakers. The public is absolutely loving Dallas as 99% have played the ML and 80% are on Dallas -1.5. Dallas is coming off a blowout loss at home to Portland and now have to travel East for a rare 1pm start. I think we fade the public today with a value play on Cleveland at home. 2. Raptors and Bobcats meet again and both meetings this season were decided by 2 points with Charlotte winning both. That was before the Raptors started playing like a team that can contend in the East. Now the Cats will be without Kemba Walker today as he is out with an injured ankle. They will be missing him as hes been solid in the backcourt this season averaging 18.7 PPG and 5 AST. Sessions takes over at PG but I dont see that being enough to cover the spread against this feisty Raptors team who are coming off a tough loss at home to the Lakers where they were beaten almost single handedly by Nick Young from 3pt range. Charlotte doesnt have the capacity to do the same. Raptors -5. 3. Pistons are 1-7 at home vs the West this season and those 7 losses are by an average margin of 14 PPG. The "new look" Pistons are in the 6th playoff spot in the East but they are 6 games below .500 and have no legitimacy, especially vs the West. Clippers on the other hand are 4th in the West and 3-2 ATS in their last 5 road games. Those games were against IND, NY, SA, DAL, POR. I dont see them having difficulty in Detroit this afternoon. Small play on LA Clippers -4. 4. Brooklyn is 6-1 SU and ATS in 2014 and have woken up and are playing great basketball. They are still without Brook Lopez but Deron Williams will play today. They were blown out last time vs NY and I expect them to venge that loss here today. The Knicks have lost 4 straight ATS and are in a funk. The line opened at NY pk and has moved up to BRK -1.5. 62% of the public favoring Brooklyn and they should be on the right side of what should be a great battle today. Brooklyn -1.5 Check back later today as I post my plays for the evening games including Miami/Atlanta. Good luck everyone. |

Orlando I took on a simple gut feeling to get out of this slump with some pretty decent stats to back it up. Boston should never be -7, regardless of Rondo playing. Miami has a lot to play for tonight, mainly getting out of this funk and on Wades bday of all days. And Denver has been hitting for me all year with one game as an exception. I rank them all evenly with a tougher board than most might think. Good luck

Few games in mind tonight with an interesting but rather unpredictable board.
1. D.Wade celebrating 32 yrs of age tonight in Philly where they are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 at home. Only 3 of those games were vs teams above .500 and they lost all 3 by an avg of 18.7 points. Arnett Moultrie and Lavoy Allen will both be out for tonights game and that spells trouble for paint defense. I like Miami to bounce back nicely in this one. Miami -10 2. Putting the game in the hands of a Big Baby Davis 3 pointer in 3OT is why Orlando lost that game. They played very well at home against Chicago the other night and are 3-2 ATS in their last 5 at Home and I dont see Charlotte as enough of a threat to look the other way when Orlando is desperate for a win to snap a 9 game skid. Orlando +1.5 3. Anytime the Celtics are favorite its worth looking at the Dog. Boston is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite and there is way too much history between these two franchises to lay down 7 points against the Lakers all because Rondo is back. He is being capped to 18-20 minutes tonight and I dont see him even hitting 18 as there are trade rumors around Rondo and running up his minutes is a big risk for Boston. LA can win this game outright. Lakers +7 4. Denver has player very well vs the East at Home this season posting a record of 5-2 with an avg win margin of 14.2. They have been able to run up the score all year with their run and gun fast paced offense and I dont like Clevelands chances in this spot. They have posted a 2-3 road record vs the West this year and have lost those games by 12, 44, and 29, an avg of 28.3. They played well the other night in Portland but I dont see them keeping up with Denver here tonight. Denver -7 Good luck everyone

Any thoughts on these? Its pretty tough to predict 1st Quarter scores especially when Youre looking at 3 road teams. Id stick to full games. I dont mind MIA 1Q but Im not suggesting it. Good luck.

A play with value.
Toronto is 10-0 ATS in their L10 games and are 8-2 in those games with the only 2 losses being in MIA and IND, #1 & #2 in the East. They have gelled as a team since the happy trade and are sitting in the 3rd spot in the East looking to go up by a game on Atlanta who has the night off. Boston has lost 9 straight and just traded away Jordan Crawford who averages 13.7 PPG and 5.7 AST. Rondo will be back Friday but expect some backcourt struggles until then. This could very well be a spot for the Celtics to win but I just dont see that happening against a team playing as well as the Raptors. Small play on Toronto -3.5 is worth a shot.

Heres tonights early play.
Washington is 3-6-1 ATS, 3-7 SU in L10 at Home. Of those 3 wins, 1 was vs a .500+ team. Wizards home loss margin on the year is 8.9 avg and 10.3 vs .500+ teams. Last 7 home loss margin is 9.4. Miami is coming off 2 straight losses and has not lost 3 straight this season. They are 2-0 coming off 2 straight L with a winning margin of 15.5. The Heat are 9-3 on the road vs sub .500 teams, 2 of those 3 losses being the last 2. Their road win margin this season is 13.2. They've had 4 days of rest to prepare for this one and I expect them to wake up and hit it hard tonight. 57% of the public on Miami and I think there is value in this play with even Money on Miami -5.5. Im on Miami -5.5.

Last night I had a lot of guys posting hate messages for titling my thread 18-1 Run. All I wanted to do was share some of the wealth thats been heading my way lately. So I posted my plays last night on the thread and went 2-1 (66%).
I will be posting all my plays on my Covers Space so that they are all tracked and I dont get anymore hate mail. First play that was posted was last night with the Cavs and Lakers Over 205 in the late game and that hit. My official record there shows 1-0, but for those on my thread, you saw the plays I posted. I will post my plays later today and feel free to add me as a friend on Covers Spaces and follow my plays there as well. Lets make it another profitable night everybody.
