Maybe the Pittsburgh Pirates cost the Yanks the WS... In the last game of the year he played in this years regular season he went 0-5 with 5 strikeouts.. Starting his downward spiral.. |

@vanzack Ok, lets talk strictly football The Giants score TD's on 11.8% of their drives. The Steelers give up Td's about 14.1% of their drives. The Giants in the 4th Quarter of games have scored an average of 3 points The Giants haven't scored a Touchdown in the 4th quarter all year on Offense ALL SEASON. A block FG TD yes, no offense TD. So, why would I expect them to do so against the number 2 rated defense? Daboll is awesome at preparing for a game, but it wears off quickly, his in game adjustments suck. Tomlin on the other hand, is perhaps the best HC at in game adjustments. |

GL.. i kinda like Najee over 10.5 yards catching the ball better... A screen pass with heavy rush coming vs banged up o-line for Pitt should do it... -105... |

If you don't think some of these games are rigged, you're a complete idiot. I happened to be on Det on Thursday, posted the pick right here, but the Sam Darnold no face mask call is proof of fixing games. That was so obvious, and should have been reviewed but wasn't. Why, it was safety, all scoring plays are automatically reviewable, but this one wasn't. Come on man, wake the F up |

Stop whining, it has nothing to do with your stupid bets or anyone's bets, it was the right call. I myself think teams should always try to score no matter what, and I don't know why you keep saying they should kneel because the clock stops if you turnover on downs so you can't actually kneel out - you would give the other team the ball with time left and 15 pts isn't completely impossible to do (highly unlikely but still you coach to make sure there is no chance) And you don't kick a FG because if it's blocked and returned for a TD now it's a one score game. Again not likely but handing off and gaining the first is actually the only way to kill the clock completely, not the Steelers fault the Jets had totally quit and didn't want to tackle anyone any more. |

@ArtSchlichterJr thanks for the reply. Although the last thing I saw was an interview with Tomlin today, he was asked who is starting at qb. He simply replied "we are keeping that in house" I don't think anyone knows who's starting, or if they play both of them. The Jets definitely don't know and that's all that matters to the Steelers. |

The book on him has always been he has trouble throwing wrs open ( he just does not throw a ball till AFTER the wr comes out of his break ).. If a wr is wide open he can zip it in their but throwing them open has always been his problem.. Well this is the NFL it aint Northwestern where the db is a future CEO its tough to get wide open on a consistent bases every play vs NFL corners.. Is Russ the answer not sure if he is but its time to find out.. Not like Pitt is replacing Terry Bradshaw.. 4-2 vs below average teams helped by special teams and defense and a little bit of lady luck....ie fumbles he had but recovered and possible INT's dropped or overturned by penalties will end and the schedule is going to get harder.. IMO Let Russ cook if he flames out back to JF and hope 9-8 is possible and and ass kicking in a possible playoff game..
@ArtSchlichterJr Thanks for the info. Personally, what do you think of the move? |

This whole thing about Russ probably starting has to be coaching maneuver. By being ambiguous, he's not letting the Jets prepare for one particular qb. I agree with Bob about the o line. If they are in that bad of shape, you're gonna want Fields out there cause he can get away, and faster on roll outs. Russ would be a sitting duck.
