Hello Friends,

We already had thousands of opportunities during regular season to bet and win so much money! Some of you might have stacked a big sum while other unlucky ones might have lost a fortune or a slice of it. If you were really good, your talent had spoken the truth during regular season as per your win-loss record. Why try and test it further during such an intense game where both teams will be fighting tooth and nail and predicting a winner is so so tough in my honest opinion. Definitely one team will win and there will be celebrations and despair amongst bettors today.

Instead of going through either of that (celebrations or despair), why can't we just drop our weapons, keep our stubbornness aside and enjoy this game with a glass of Beer and Popcorns without betting any money? The amount of stress bettors will go through is NOT WORTH IT especially in such an intense game. I will not bet any money even if I can afford to lose it and will watch this game for pure ENJOYMENT! Just my 2 Cents!! Cheers

 The real issue is not with Bankroll Management but whether you have the RIGHT NUMBER to compete against 1000-pound Gorilla called Bookie.

Once you have the RIGHT NUMBERS with you, no matter how good or bad you are with your BR, you cannot lose long term else you will keep losing slowly (like a slow death) and keep blaming on other issues like BR management, variable unit size plays, back door cover, rigged games, trapped lines and so on and so forth. Focus on RIGHT NUMBER to solve this nagging issue of losing money all the time.. GL

Good thread.. Lots of honest confessions about failures which is not an easy thing to do imo.

Gambling is a vicious cycle that traps all of us some way or the other. What baffles me the most is bettors try to analyze a game with their own set of rules which is so funny to read most of the time. If Team A had a better offensive eff than team B, they will win, Last 4 meetings between them have gone over so this game has to be over, team A is due for win as they have lost last 4 and so on and so forth, the list goes on. Majority of us are clueless how the Line is set and how that number (THE LINE) is formulated. Bookies want us to believe "ADD HOME COURT ADVANTAGE TO POWER RATING DIFFERENTIAL OF THE HOME TEAM" and you have produced the LINE!!,EUREKA!!, which is what we believe and follow and end up losing in thousands if not millions.

I cannot stress enough that if you are clueless on how the LINE is formed, just quit this game right now as you can't fight an invisible enemy who is much more stronger than your imaginations. I am 53 and still learning the science of betting even after 12 years of madness I am involved with. I keep adding data and keep searching for new stat to sharpen my model but still can't be on top of this game. Recent find of FIC (Floor impact Counter) stat has made a big difference to my betting results and i'm focused to delve more into this aspect of my research.

If you wanna bet casual, play with your casual money. If you are serious then you have to have a Model or some kind of system. Bookies know very well that we all love to bet Favorite and Over and LINES are always manipulated keeping that LOVE in mind. Don't get trapped in those manipulations and search for that MAGIC NUMBER you can compare with bookies offered LINE. Not easy task but achievable with hard work and dedications if you have the WILLPOWER to win at this Battle.
