quick write ups...

West Virginia -9 (2 units) --- WV has dominated recently, TCU started season on fire until they hit conference play (1-4, losing by average 10 points)

Yale -10.5 (2 units) --- These two played a week ago at Brown, and Yale pummeled them by 18, nothing has changed, except the venue...

Kentucky -13 (1 unit) --- Everything on paper points to the Wildcats to win this game handily.  I simply can't find a reason to back the Gamecocks.  And I root against Kentucky every game, except today.

Missouri +6 (2 units) --- Arkansas off an overtime thriller against rival Alabama just 48 hours ago.  Now they gotta go play a sorry Missouri team.  LSU had a similar situation against Mizzou a couple weeks ago and lost outright.  Textbook letdown spot.

Boise St -6.5 (2 units) --- I will continue to back anyone playing AF laying single digits with their top 2 scorers out.  Boise also missing a key player, but they dominate in every statistical category...

Buffalo -3 (2 units) --- Bulls a better team laying short number, think they get it done today.

Minnesota -5 (3 units) --- Illinois is just battered.  They've got 25 points missing from the line up going on the road to a good Gophers team. 

BYU -4.5 (5 units) --- They win this by double digits. If Anson plays, I may put 5 more units on this...

Man, that Green Bay game was frustrating to watch...Green Bay's leading scorer was something like 3-15 from the field, and when that happens and they still win, what are you gonna do?

OKC just plain sucked, when they show up to play, they can beat anybody and score a garbage-ton to boot. But every now and again, you get this dud.

Anyways, much better selection tomorrow, and I expect to CASH big.

Alex - All good points. In every game, there are counterpoints, and believe me, I play devil's advocate against my picks all the time.  Based on everything, I really like Green Bay.

Had a great opening post night yesterday, and really am looking forward to tomorrow's slate.  This is the time to make money in conference play in college baskets. 

Little to no value in tonight's games, but I have identified one play tonight in college hoops...

Wisky Green Bay-5.5 (4 units) --- The Phoenix are a robust 9-0 at home this season and completely healthy.  Their average margin of victory at home is frickin 19 points!  They get after it on their home floor!  Valpo is a good team, but they come in to this with their leading assist and steal guy doubtful.  That's not good when you play a great team on the road. It's a two pony race in the Horizon, and this is a game Green Bay must win.  Look for Valpo to keep it close early, but Green Bay to pull away in the 2nd half for a double digit win.

Bonus NBA pick - Hawks/Thunder > 207.5 (2 units) ---- Look for a shootout here, the Hawks want to keep their winning streak alive, and OKC will not go away easily, and won't play defense. Final in the 220's

Everything went according to plan, except Coastal, who was never in it.  Eastern Washington put a little scare at the end, after being up 23 at half, but they got the job done.

I'm a longtime lurker, decided to put my picks out there following a lot of recent success...a unit is $110. 

Notre Dame -10.5 (5 units)---- This is as much a pick AGAINST VT as it is for ND.  Two of VT's top 3 players OUT. Better team should win by 13-14 WITH VT players playing.  This game reminds me a lot of the San Diego St game a couple days ago against Air Force.  If VT covers this line that undermanned, I'll tip my cap to them.

Coastal Carolina pk (2 units) ---- I love finding this kind of value in these small conferences.  CC is the class of the Big South.  A decent road team (7-3) that plays good defense.  Asheville outgunned at home and I don't have to lay anything.  Bonus points if you can name the Coastal mascot.

Canisius -3.5 (2 units) ---- Another superior road team covering a short number.  Fairfield just doesn't impress me, and their leading rebounder is banged up, may miss this game.  Canisius better offensive and defensive stats, and is healthy.  Ill take em.

Arizona -3.5 (2 units) ---- I really like this Wildcats team.  They did just lay the lumber to Utah, but that was last Saturday, and they should be fully focused against a banged up Stanford team missing two rotation players. 

Eastern Washington -8.5 (2 units) ---- Eastern Washington is like a lower-end Mountain West or Pac 12 team amongst a bunch of crappy Big Sky teams.  I've watched them play a couple games this season, and I.m impressed.  This team could win a game or two in the NCAA tournament if someone overlooks them.  They are 8-0 at home, and Northern Colorado doesn't scare me (or them). 

NBA Bonus pick ---- Chicago Bulls +5.5 (2 units) ---- I almost took them moneyline, but couldn't pull the trigger.  This is a good spot for the Bulls.
