Great NCAAF contest that will be fun for everyone who wants to participate. Please read details below.

I apologize for the short notice with NCAAF starting in just a few weeks.

I am going to keep the rules pretty much the same as the Hilton contest.

We'll keep the buy-in the same this season at $100. Maybe we can bring in some new participants and grow the pot even higher!

Reminder - all entry fees must be paid before Kickoff Wednesday August 27th. Payment details below.

I have copy/pasted the Contest Information from last year as a reminder to everyone and for any newbies...

• Every Tuesday/Wednesday I will take the lines from Pinnacle.com and I will email them to everyone involved in the pool. To avoid pushes, I will move spreads up .5 if need be. For Example, if Alabama is favorite by 5, that spread will become -5.5

• So when you guys receive these lines, your job is to go through all the games and find your 5 favorite spreads of the week. 

• The difference from the NFL contest will be this: You will still pick 5 games. You will still have a Chad Johnson pick that is worth 2 points with the other 4 picks being worth only 1 point. However with their being so many college games in a week I have decided to break it down into 4 main divisions. We will be covering the ACC, BIG 10, BIG 12 & SEC. You must pick at least 1 team from each conference per week. 

Once you have picked a game involving at least 1 team in each of the 4 conferences your 5th and final pick will be any game that involves at least 1 team in any of the 4 big conferences. Here are some examples below:

Alabama vs whoever they play would be your SEC pick

Michigan vs whoever they play would  be your BIG 10 pick

Oklahoma vs whoever they play would  be your BIG 12 pick

Florida State vs whoever they play would be your ACC pick

Ohio state vs whoever they play could be your final pick and that week the BIG 10 you would have 2 games for. 

If you were to choose a game that featured for example  ALABAMA ( SEC) vs MICHIGAN (BIG10) you could choose which division you would like to put that under. If you also liked Florida to cover that week ( SEC ) then you would want the BAMA/MICHIGAN game to be your BIG10 game of the week.

Your 5th and final pick CAN INCLUDE 2 teams that play in the 4 conferences example OHIO STATE VS TEXAS

Any of your Division games CAN INCLUDE both teams example VIRGINIA TECH VS DUKE ( ACC) or SOUTH CAROLINA vs OLE MISS (SEC)

Your CHAD JOHNSON can be any game that you want it to be 

Again you just have to make sure you INCLUDE ALL 4 divisions when picking your 5 games.

• ALL your plays MUST be in by 11:00AM on Saturday. So one hour prior to kickoff of the 12pm games. Picks will not be accepted after 11AM on Saturday, you will receive a zero for the week. IF you want to play the Thursday or Friday games as one of your 5 plays, you can email me that play at least 1 hour PROIR to KICKOFF. Each week I will make notes of the early week games and give an exact time. **THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT - PLEASE DON'T MISS THE CUT-OFF**

• I will have updated standings hopefully no later than sunday evening or in some cases Monday depending on each week when games are played.

• Since I am taking lines from Tuesday/Wednesday, there are times that a game is still OTB (Off the board). Last year Mohun waited for lines to be released (only happened a few times) and we'll do the same this year. If there is a significant injury to a QB, and we won't know until the weekend if he is playing and the game remains OTB, that game will just be left off. 

Whoever accumulates the most points throughout the course of the season is the winner! Pending how many people end up joining will decide how the payouts are done. Most likely top 3 or 4 will be paid out. Last year 1st place won around $1500 dollars.

If you are no longer interested in joining let me know. I can then remove you from the group list. 

Remember I will need your $100 dollars prior no later than WEDNESDAY AUGUST 27th. You can send me the $100 in an email transfer to   j_foll@hotmail.com  or in cash.

I can't help but laugh at this forum :

First off the topic is " Pujols coming to Toronto " then lists cobbs, hill & drabek .....

Yet i've just spent 45 minutes reading the last 75 something messages to here ppl bitch and argue the career #'s of kyle drabek

how bout we all just shut up and discuss whether or not this would be a good deal or not, or just not talk about it until it happens

albert pujols is the best player in the game, he's going to make $200 mil easy on this next contract and although the jays don't have a bankroll, they do have money, ask vernon wells and his $126 million ....

However, in order for this to happen and the jays to trade away, Pujols wants to come here. So why would he wanna go here? You think he went to the GM of the cards and said, " i wanna go to toronto " dont think so, so this aint happening unless pujols sings long term, which as much as i love the jays, why would i go to toronto, the only canadian team in baseball, to try and beat the yanks/red soxs,  yeah that could be fun, he would be better than the lackey, cc, burnett, arod, texeria, crawford guys in baseball who go to where the spotlight and money is, 

Also, jays can afford to lose hill, he's been injured hte last few years, hill has only really had 1 good year, he he hits 30 hr a year but bats like .220

Johnny Mac is reliable on defence and escobar could move to 2nd and let the promising prospect cuban SS take over at SS, i cant think of his name right now

although i dont know why im wasting my time typing all of this to you guys because albert ain't coming here, it would be great for the city of toronto and it would be a deadly 3/4 combo with him and batista, but please when a forum is started about a trade or trade rumor, lets stick to what the topic is,

not start aruging over a guy who is in the trade, this topic should now be about Kyle Drabek,
