It might be more that the defensive coaches suck than the OSU coaches are good.  Every defensive player is out of position and fooled by the pre snap action.

Thomas Brown will have these guys fired up.  Watch what this roster does without the shackles of Matt Eberflus.  The 9ers are reeling from injuries.  No Bosa, no McCaffery, no Aiyuk, no Greenlaw, no Hafunga.  Will they have Trent Williams back? They are exhausted from the freezing beat down by the Bills.

Pretty clear from the responses, from Caleb’s press conference and from every talking head that clock management in that situation is on the coaches.  The post about taking the timeout at 32 seconds is correct
