Is anyone interested in helping me backtest an NBA & NHL System
in Systems & Strategies
Hey guys,
I do not post much and this is probably my first post in a few years since I stepped away from any sort of betting until this past year when I started back up with baseball. I used to use an NBA System that worked out well but needed some tweaking. I started backtesting it again from last season and I see the trend has reversed and it could potentially become a fade system. For the NHL System, it is just a situational play with filters factored in. The main issue I have is backtesting it quicker with more plays. I've spent most of time tonight since coming back from Christmas lunch & dinner backtesting the NBA system and have gotten from 12/21/15 - 2/29/16 with a total of 22 plays. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I would discuss with you all the details and formulas/situations that go into it. Thanks

Wow. Don't see many mistakes from Boise State like that one.

I have the over for the game and this is beyond frustrating. OC for SDSU is so headstrong on running the ball yet they continue to go backwards. Then they do a stretch play inside the 2-yard line? Crazy.

goldsheet.com is a great tool and I'm sure it is pretty easy to import onto Excel.

Tried this in the College Football forum but got no responses, maybe some more luck here, here is what I wrote:
I just dusted off a binder I use that has a bunch of NFL and CFB situations. For College Football, I usually just do my own studying and not even look at the situations but some of them appear very useful. Only problem is, they have not been backtracked in years. Was wondering if anyone can be of help. Thanks I also have a ton of NFL trends/situations I use that are all handwritten and am more than willing to type them all up if we can get them backtested at least over the past 4-5 years.

Because this system is 1-7 SU/ATS against unbeaten teams (Jaguars @ Denver) and 1-7 SU 3-5 ATS if winless teams are playing on short rest (NY Giants @ Chicago). Not saying that Jaguars and Giants will not cover, I am just saying that I do not want to risk my money on them. The team I am backing this week is Tampa Bay. They are winless and they are also off of their bye week. Winless teams after week 5 with more than 7 days of rest are 25-5 ATS. My play is Tampa Bay +1. More later this week. Good luck. Hey Gamblino, Great work thus far. I am a situational bettor as well and actually have a binder full of situations/systems that I would like to potentially share and/or backtrack with your help if possible.
