Looks to be a lot of good plays on the board today
West Virginia +1 (5 units) - Just cant see KSU going on the road and winning here. I think we are getting value here because Kstates wins against Florida (semi-home game) and OSU (If McGruder doesn't go crazy in the 2nd half they lose). Its going to be an ugly game and Im not sure Bruce Weber is ready to win on the road in the Big 12. This will only be their second roadie of the year (first was George Washington). NC State +3.5 (5 Units) - No Ryan Kelly and Duke first true road game against a team that has had this game circled all year. Give me the home crowd and the points. Texas +8.5 (5 Units) - Iowa State is a bit overvalued here and Texas undervalued in my opinion. The Longhorns have played against a lot of solid defenses and ugly teams early in the year. Well Iowa State isnt great defensively. They gave Kansas fits this week because they hit a ton of threes and grabbed a lot of long rebounds. Hoiberg was smart in sagging on Kevin Young and took away the high low offense and it took Kansas some time to adjust. As for good on the ball defense though. ISU doesnt have it. Take the points here. Texas can defend and I dont think ISU will shoot as well as they did in Lawrence this week. South Florida +18.5 (2 Units) - I think USF will slow this thing down as much as possible and it will make it tough for Louisville to cover this line. Colorado State (5 Units) - Lots of talent that no one knows about on the CSU team. They have the type of squad that could give the Aztecs fits. Yes I understand that SDSU has a great home court crowd, but this Rams team is Senior dominated and no one knows about them. Public looks to be pounding the Aztecs but the line is holding steady. Other Leans Clemson -1 Ok State +1.5 Oregon State +10.5 Auburn +3 Kansas -18.5 (Really surprised this line isnt more, but as a fan thats going to the game Im not touching it because I just wanna enjoy it) San Fran +13.5

Anyone have thoughts on Utah +7.
I really like this one. First true road game for UCLA and Utah has improved vastly over last season. I could see an outright win by Utah. Gonna play it.

Looking at these. Anyone have any opinions: Youngstown State +2.5 Miami +4.5 (road) Oregon +1 Arizona St +5 (road) North Texas +4 (road) |

Arizona might pull this out, but they are a fraud. Probably more like a team that should be ranked in the 15-25 range. Not #4. They got seriously lucky against Florida at home, San Diego State on the road and were given a game against Colorado and had to hang on for dear life against Utah.
Question for the 'Oregon alums' in this thread. How many games have you watched? Ive seen you guys play a couple times. Seems like the best team you have had in five or six years. Oregon +1 for me

No way Oregon's defense is better than Kansas' but I understand what your point is. Tough game for Oregon. Roadie against a rival. Im on the beavers but not positive about it.

Agree with you on all especially this one. First off. Arizona is still overrated and Colorado has a huge turn around after that game. If Arizona can keep Colorado from scoring in transition and forces them into a half court game ASU will win this. ASU has the top shot blocker in the nation and one of the best freshman guards no one has heard about. Tad Boyle gets his guys to play efficient but they arent as good as they were last year (see the Kansas drumming they took). BOL to ya today JFen

Good luck. Doesnt Arizona State have the leading shot blocker in the nation? Not sure they will dominate the paint.

Whoa bro. Cam Newton won a NATIONAL TITLE. Furthermore, the SEC was better form top to bottom that year.
My comparison was that Cam Newton and RGIII were upper classmen when they won the Heisman. Johnny Appleseed is a freshman. If you believe that this wasnt the worst year in recent memory to choose a Heisman trophy winner then there is no use arguing with you. Good luck with putting your money on the Aggies. |

If Texas a and m stayed in big 12 this year they probable would be undefeated and be playing in national championship. Choklahoma lost to a overrated Kansas state team and couldn't even move the ball against notre dame squad . Texas a and m should win this easily.
No way A&M goes undefeated in the Big 12 this year. NONE. |

Everyone that is looking for A Heisman Letdown from Johnny Football, The Last 3 Heisman Winners gone on to win their bowl games. Ingram, Cam, Rg3. Has little to no significance on the game. I've watched both these teams a lot this year and constantly been More frustrated with Oklahoma. The Difference to me In this game is not the Offense It's the defense. Johnny Football doesn't have to be the Main reason why Texas A&M wins. They win by Running the ball in this one... Oklahoma was ranked 8th in the Big 12 allowing nearly 186 yds pg. An avg. of 4.8 a carry and also 23 touchdowns. Texas A&M Lost It's offensive coordinator to Texas Tech which could be a bit problematic BUT... Rb's coach Clarence McKinney will take over the play calling which should bode well for the Running game. Between Johnny Football, Malena, Christine Michael, and Freshman Trey Williams they have A slew of guys that can get the job done on the ground against Oklahoma. And with Manziel's ability to extend play's And be unpredictable it's A matchup nightmare. On Defense Landry Jones is A great Qb but one of his biggest weaknesses is pressure and Turnovers. If he could sit in the pocket for countless seconds per play He will pick a Defense apart. BUT... They will Bring pressure. Damontre Moore who has 12.5 sacks on the season will be looking to make A good final impression on the NFL scouts before entering the Draft. As A team they have 30 Sacks on the season. Pressure will Lead to turnovers Leading to short Fields for Manziel and the A&M offense. Oklahoma will convert some of their drives and their will be plenty of points scored. Im Not into betting Totals but this one should go OVER. In the End the Ability to Run the Ball against Oklahoma. Manziel making some wow plays. Defense getting pressure and forcing a few turnovers... I have A&M winning. I took the -2.5 just because But -3 should be Fine. BOL Johnny Overrated is a freshman. RGIII, Mark Ingram and Cam Nexton were light years ahead of that little punk. OU playing for the Big 12. Stoops is gonna romp tonight. A&M beat Bama in a bad spot. Their next best win - Mississippi State and they gave up 58 to La Tech. BOL to ya, but Im rolling with Boomer Sooner |

Also, pool never backs roadies which would be Memphis in this case as the game is in Knoxville.
I just think Memphis is a better team and I noted that its in Knoxville and that there are better games. Seeing Tennessee a few times this year, they really miss Maymon on the offensive end. Tennessee does hold people to a low 3 point percentage but Memphis scores 60% of their points from 2 (according to Kenpom) so they do not rely on the 3 to win games. With that being said, Im not going to touch it. But I will be on Oklahoma tonight. Boomer Sooner! |
