We'll do credit if the user comes recommended (this is our primary business). PM if really interested...... Good Luck!

PURDUE -5.1AT WISCONSIN +21.7 BADGERS COME IN OFF THE BYE AT NW. +4.4. Must win for season win total over bettors ?MINNESOTA -5.8. Monster revenge spot after giving up 54 to the Gophers ly ...Another must win ..Bye At OHIO ST +24.6. BUCKEYES ARE ALSO OFF THE BYE ILLINOIS -13.3. MICHIGAN ST +10.4. DO catch Sparty after they host Ohio St At IOWA +11.1. Very close to pounding the Hawkeyes on the GOY LINES ....Looks like 6-6 to me .....sure they could win 7 , but i think its more likely they win 5 If you want to bet on the Huskers season win total , I would suggest just betting them ATS vs PURDUE, NW , MINNESOTA , & MICHIGAN ST ......
That is a pretty good analysis. It looks like you're being a little harder on Nebraska than the place I'm looking. I'm grabbing my lines from BigRedBookie.com Do you post your analysis for any other teams anywhere? |

I just don't see him moving up the ranks and coming into Lincoln and immediately righting the ship. Especially with Nebraska starting a first year QB (either a freshman or a RS freshman) and implementing new systems on both sides of the ball. I still think the biggest thing holding the Huskers back this season is a BRUTAL schedule. They are the only team in the West who has to play 3 of the 4 East powers (including 2 on the road). I project them a TD+ underdog in all of those road games. Which means Nebraska will more than likely have to run the table at home in order to reach 7 wins. It's certainly a possibility, but they'll be underdogs to Michigan St. and short favorites (less than a TD) against Colorado and Purdue. And don't sleep on Troy. They went 11-2 last year and beat a far more talented LSU team in Baton Rouge. I still think if Nebraska gets to 6-6 they can call this a successful first season for Frost. Watch out next year! I think if I was betting a team in the West this season, I would bet Iowa over 7.5 wins.
I think you're right but there are some places we can attack. The site I use as the lines for the season as: - Nebraska -22.5 against Akron |

Well they should clean up in their first 3 games (2 TD favorites in all 3). After that they go to Michigan and are a 2+TD dog, then they have Purdue at home where they're a slight favorite. So they can start out 4-1. After that they have Wisc and NW where they are 2.5TD and 1 TD dogs so to 4-3. Currently favored over Minnesota by a little over 1TD so 5-3.
Leaves us with Ohio St, Mich St, Iowa, and Illinois. 20 pt and 13 pt dogs to Ohio St and Mich St respectively (away games against Ohio St, Mich St, Wisc, and Michigan, I mean seriously, wtf) but they have Illinois sandwiched in the middle where they're a 10pt favorite so can get to 6-5. That just leaves Iowa at the end, Iowa is at home but only a 4.5 pt favorite right now. So they can get to 7 wins with a win there.
Basically comes down to a couple games if they have an average season. They have to beat Purdue at home where they are a slight favorite and they have to beat Iowa on the road where they are a slight dog.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I'm seeing 6.5 as the line. Looks like first 3 games should be pretty easy but after that the schedule is a bear.
I'm still leaning over thought. GBR!!!!

I use *mod edit* to view the lines and they're showing -21.5. Nebraska usually kills their beginning of season opponents and then self destructs about 3 games into the season. Looks like this year won't be any different with their schedule going from sleeping to major matchup in week 4. I like Huskers RSW under, they're on the cusp based on projected spreads and if they stay true to the last few years they'll choke it up. |
