@DoubleUp4Life Overrated….we shall see. Your cornerbacks better be doing windsprints this off-season. They’ll be no more running up the score in Bills Dolphins matchups….unless it’s Miami that does it |

Or someone could play some defense? They should have squibbed the kickoff….would have been 7 or 6 seconds left. They should not have rushed 4. Rush 2 drop 9 into coverage. Poor coaching cost them the game….and horrible defense |

@charlielo55 Look I’m nothing but repectful to other posters. Don’t call me an idiot. I’m a veteran and a retired police officer. Doubt you’d do it to my face. Anyway, anybody who wagers on something they believe is fixed makes no sense to me…but good luck |

Long time and I do mean long time gambler and Covers user here. Although I quit posting due to childish nature of some posters…anyways…
I have to respectfully disagree. I have this conversation with my Nephew, who happens to be a Bills fan and also swears it’s fixed. IT IS NOT FIXED. it is bad refereeing. Period 1. If it was fixed or scripted, don’t you think a retired, fired, or disgruntled ref or a member of his family would have blown the whistle? This would effectively end the NFL. And make it a pro wrestling type of sport. 2. How exactly does this work? Does Godell meet with all refs for all 16 games every week and say, “Ok we are going to let this team win. So push the calls their way. Take the Bills for example. When they came out of the gate as well as they did was their whole season scripted. Did the league push calls their way and then decide to pull the rug out from under them? 3. Taking the refs out of it for a moment, the Bills last two losses were a direct result of poor coaching, and yes some bad calls, but more on that in a second. Against the Pats the Pats threw the ball 3 times…3. I saw no defensive adjustment until late in the game when they finally stacked the box. Agains the Bucs, Bills had zero Carrie’s by running backs in first half. Also never blitzed Brady till 4th quarter. Everyone knows if you put Brady under constant pressure he is not as effective. Getting back to the refs, if you want to stop this nonsense about the games being fixed, here’s a couple of solutions. 1. FULL TIME REFEREES! I have always felt, due to bad refs, that the league should employ full time refs. Not these part time lawyers, and businessmen. Hire full time refs, and during the off season have them hone their craft. Study film, get in shape, learn how to work together. The fact they don’t have full time refs is killing many peoples opinion of the legitimacy of the sport. 2. Add a challenge for each team and make pass interference, defensive holding and personal fouls reviewable. I see a lot of missed calls also. But mainly because the ref is out of position or just plain misses or mistakes what he saw. We have replay….fucking use it.
Again, I respect you double, you’ve been around as long as I have. But if you or anyone else really believes this is scripted why on earth would they bet on it? Can you script a great one handed catch. Or a Hail Mary. Or an onside kick. It’s not fixed but there are issues with the refs and have been since I was a kid. And that was a long time ago. |

Thanks for all the posts...LOL. Turned out I didn’t need feedback. Decided to bet them all 8-1-2 so far with Pitt, Wisconsin under, and Temple looking good. Duke not so much. But I’ll take 11-2-1 anyway. |

Face facts. It was a garbage play by Gronk. Could have ended the guys career. Love delusional Pats fans. You are correct if that was Brady taking that shot they’d be shouting for the death penalty

Let me get this straight. Your justification for pile driving all 260lbs into the back of a defenseless players head, risking ruining his career, is that you got frustrated by the officiating?
I have news for you. If you are just now realizing the officiating sucks in the NFL, you are dumber than you look. Signed, Every person on the planet who watches football

On the other side. Miami's d-line vs the Seahawks re-tooled o-line is a mismatch and and if they spy Wilson should present problems for Seattle.
Dolphins offense is also running a hurry up in Gases system which according to some reports had players on the opposing defense gasping and puking. Now having said all that I don't think Miami goes into Seattle and pulls the upset, but my prediction for final score is 24-20 or 27-21 range. One of my five picks this week is Miami +10 and over 44. Good luck this week

If Seattle wins it will be by 4-7 points. Sometimes I will buy a half point here and there for slightly better juice. |
