Don't really like a lot of the lines tonight, too many toss ups for me. But one game I like is the jazz over the magic. No oladipo is what does it for me. Gobert is a game time decision but he said earlier in the week that it was possible that he would play Thursday(yesterday). Since they lost, its possible that gobert will want to play tonight and want to help his team get a W. The pick: Jazz -1 $397.43 to win $361.30

Good call on the bills game. Thought it would be a better game but it turned out that the bills just made fewer mistakes in a crap game. Win is a win though.
Current streak: 2 wins Best: 2 wins +$397.43 To the one (maybe) person who has tailed me so far, stay tuned for a pick tomorrow |

Didn't see the percentage on the bills ml. I'm no expert so maybe then it technically isn't. Either way I still like the bills

Ok, don't really like any nba games out of the few that are available. So tonight it's time for some nfl. I like the bills tonight a lot. Rex's players will be extra motivated, and that will be a huge difference for them as both teams are on a short week and the jets have a lot of injuries. I could honestly see Fitzpatrick getting hurt and geno smith coming into the game at some point. Tyrod Taylor has played really well this season, and now Sammy Watkins is back to help even more. Yeah the bills have a lot of penalties, but I don't think it matters in this one. And don't forget about the reverse line movement that's happened to this game since last night.
The pick: Bills +1.5, $150 to win 130.43 Bills +2, $65 to win 52 $215 to win $182.43 |

Oh definitely, if I win a few in a row, I'll take some money off the top and instead of betting $1000 or whatever I'll bet $800 and from then on you're playing with house money.

Well here's the first bet of hopefully many: Kings +1.5 $115 to win 100
I still think kings get it done tonight after hashing out some issues in a meeting yesterday. There was a report that cousins gave the kings an ultimatum today, fire karl or trade me. If that's true then the kings giving maximum effort tonight becomes a little suspect if they want their head coach fired. But I still think that this team is hungry for a win and at home, I'll take 'em.

Don't worry about preaching or something, I'm open to all advice. Is this really a chase system though? Isn't a chase system like betting one team in baseball in a series and increasing your bet each time if they lose? Like a martingale system basically. This is the opposite, doubling bets after wins and resetting after a loss. I know that chase systems risk a lot for a little gain, but this is risking a little for a big gain. This is a "true" parlay because I'm trying to string wins in a row, and the book doesn't keep the big-parlay juice

So to start off this "parlay", I kinda like the Kings tonight at home against the Pistons. Despite a poor record, the kings haven't exactly played easy teams, and with a "players only" meeting yesterday, I could see them with some serious motivation to win at home. Kings are healthier now and have motivation to play defense. Anyone have an opinion or a game you really like?

I've lurked here for a long time, and I see some of the more respected cappers will have a great POD record like 7-2 or 6-0, etc
So what I'm gonna do now is try to play the "most obvious" games and double up each bet after a winner. You could call it a long term parlay. The difference is the books don't take a lot of juice in this big parlay and we'll reach a consensus on the best bets giving us the best shot to win. I did this last year toward the end of football season and middle of the NBA, turning $200 into about $9000. Yeah I needed a lot of luck, the Seahawks in the nfc championship almost killed me and I bet some NBA teasers that won by a point or two only. But I did it. Now I'm making this thread to try and do it again, get only the best games, bet one per day maybe, and see what happens. If nobody likes/agrees on a best bet on a certain day, then no bet. I'd like to see other people participate, just start with 1 unit and see where it takes us. Go to a calculator and multiply your unit by 1.8-1.9 a few times and you'll see the power of doubling up. And if we lose? Well you only lose 1 unit. Big whoop you've lost worse, and since I got the $9000 I have too. Of course nothing is guaranteed in betting so I won't promise that we'll go on a 5-0 run or a 7-0 run. But if we/I do, you'll be sorry you missed out. I'd like to hear from other people if anyone else has made a post like this and what the result was, or if you've tried it yourself and what happened. As I'm new here I don't expect too much noise at first, so anybody else participating would be greatly appreciated. |
