I really liked utah state in this game. I saw a guy's pick that I follow from time to time. It's a fifty star by Kelso. I don't follow him religously but I recall the 50 star picks were usually very good. I did bet one a week or two ago and won. anyone know his record I ' be interested to know. Anyway I''m picking byu - 7'

2 good quarterbacks in first quarter; if schawb doesn't score maybe he plays more than 12 plays ; sanchez reportedly plays all of first quarter; last year both teams scored over 7' in first quarter of first game; fifty fifty chance but the pay off makes the play worth it

A&M -3 over baylor a&m hot & baylor defense giving up too many points . TCU destroys Sand diego state -29. Oklahoma State -4 1/2 over texas Last week I said they can"t lose another one. This week I say yes they can lose another one. Teams totals Oklahoma state over 30 1/2 , TCU over 40 1/2. Arkansas -29 1/2 over utep. If I had any guts I'd take texas tech with 17 point line but this is the kind of bet that makes you look foolish if things don't work out.

clemson rated 35 defensively by sportsillustrated; boise rated 45, air force rated 53; therefore I'd have to question your assertion boise is better defesively than those teams

obiously you do not understand this rivalry. itis geneticly inscribed in texans. given the choice of losing all their games for the year and winning against texas the a&m fans would probably choose winning against texas. While I , concede their contempt for each other has somewhat lessened it's still there certainly with those who contribute funds. Who do you think invented all those aggie jokes that brought contempt on a&m. Do you think they ever forget or forgive the tea sippers.. Mac is a gentleman and running up the score is not his style; still if there were ever a game when he'd feel obligated to do just that it would be this game. Texas is just too strong and motivation will not be a problem .

pitt has averaged 5.9 points in the first quarter this year while denver has been giving up 5.6 points. Denver has averaged scoring 3.4 points in the first quarter this year while Pitt has given up only 0.9. Home away stats- On the road pitt has averaged 8 points in the first quarter, and denver has been giving up 8.7 point at home. Denver at home has averaged 2.3 points in the first quarter while pitt has been giving up 2 points on the road. Pittsburg has scored first in seven of their eight games this year. Denver has scored first in half of their games. In 3 of the 16 games no points were scored in the first quarter but my line is pick em so I push if that occurs. In five of the 8 games pitt scored a touchdown as its first score. In five of the 8 games denver has scored a field goal first. This looks like at a good play even with 30 % juice

sinc san fran has given up 69 points last 2 games I see no problem with indy scoring 40 and their not so sterling defense giving up 14 for an easy cover

you stated the jet's win for over tennessee was not that impessive; can't disagree with that ; however, how about the win the week before over new england - that's more impressive than anything miami has done

last week against e mich they only led by 7 at half and then scored 21 to zip in second half. this is the #22 team in the country -- I think they can win by a touchdown and hopefully at least 8

since nevada hasn't scored in the first half this year and missouri has done well in the first half I'd take them except my line is horrible .If you have -3 or -3' without extra juice I'd gobble it up

projections that nevada will do better do not impress me. They have given up 7 td passes in 2 games. Missouri win by 3 tds.

anything can happen in a game but if you study and read about these teams their past & current performance I don't see how you could pick fresno. Surely they lose by 3 touchdowns. I can't see any good reason to bet fresno and about 15 reasons to bet against them. Some people I respect are picking fresno but I can see no reason for it
