Honestly, a series bet is not the way to go. The winner in this series will win the title. I would place a future bet to win the title and cash in on the better odds. My opinion... |

Brett Brown already admitted Nets were a bad matchup. Without Embiid, Sixers are a totally different team. They also have a terrible bench. I’m not saying the Sixers can’t win or cover but the reasons you listed makes me feel like you haven’t spent much time or effort handicapping this game. I appreciate the time you put in to discuss the game with DAS GOAT. I agree the guards have to be the one to carry the Nets to a win. I mentioned it above, lavert, Harris, and Russle have to play a perfect game. I don't see that happening in game 1. Harris is a good defender, not a lockdown but his athleticism can cause a player to play outside of their comfort zone. Sixers are 12th in the league in defensive rating. They have the size, shooters and pace to take this. Game two may be a little different. I take it you're on the Nets . Wish you luck.... |

NBA Playoffs are here and DAS GOAT has you covered. We’re coming out of the gates strong with a Large bet on the sixers. No Embied, I say NBD. The only way the Nets can win is by shooting a high percentage from behind the arc. Levert and Harris would have to pitch in and play a perfect game. The sixers are stacked and have plenty of defenders to hold Russle in check. I do see the Nets winning but not tonight and not game 1 in the city of brotherly love! Today's early afternoon drink is a nice hearty Bloody Mary, with some olives and a shrimp to top it off, as we watch this winner cash in. We got plenty more work ahead of us fellas. Stay tuned.

We hit the first game of the night. So let’s keep it going. For the night cap, the Nuggets should take this one with ease. They are terrified of dropping to the 3rd seed and having to face Westbrook and George for 7 games is no bueno. They will try with every ounce to avoid that 3 seed and it starts tonight. Murray will play, and I expect a well coached team to show up, like they have all season. Grab another Michelob Ultra, and tail DAS GOAT to the promise land!! ??

Well, we cashed in big last night fellas. NCAA is finally over and we now focus our attention on the NBA playoffs. We start this quest tonight! As there are a few key matchups to determine contenders and final seedings. The Hornets are in a tough spot if they want to make the playoffs. They must win both of their remaining games, and hope the pistons split there’s. The Cavs are banged up, they don’t have a big man and will have to rely on Channing Fry to rebound and provide offense. I expect the Hornets to come out of the gate strong and cover the 4.5 first half line. Could they cover the -8? They could…. but I’m not as confident in that play. DAS GOAT would never play with your pockets like that. Take away all the background noises, the “must wins”, the injuries, and records, and lets look at the numbers; Hornets average 55.5 ppg in the first half, and have bumped it up to 58.7 ppg in the last 3 games. The Cavs average 51.7 ppg in the first half, and have dropped to 48.7 ppg in the last 3 games. Do you see a trend? DAS GOAT definitely does…..So tail me to the promise land as we cash in tonight’s early bird winner. Drink of choice for this Tuesday night special is a light cold Michelob Ultra, as we must prepare for the hot summer playoff days ahead! HORNEST first half -4.5 GOAT OUT! |

So, you ask why I pick Virginia time after time, especially after squeezing out not one but two games? Games they should have lost but ended up winning..... Fellas one word, DESTINY. The Cavaliers are destined to be here tonight and destined to win the NCAA championship. I had them picked in all my brackets and I'm sticking to my guns. We can't mess with fate here, just look at the run the Cavs have been on, they were dead to rights in the last game and still won! These events are far beyond a persons control, and at times we must just accept its outcome.
However, if you're a pragmatist and want the analytics DAS GOAT has you covered. Virginia has the top scoring defense in the country, along with one of the best defenses from behind the arc. Ask Auburn and Purdue on what they thought..... The Cavs shoot a better free throw percentage (points will be limited), and score on 50 percent of their possessions. I'm not taking anything away from the Red Raiders, as their stats are not too far off, but everything points in favor of Virginia. Tonights drink of choice as we watch this winner, a nice tequila by the name of Clase Azul Reposado on the rocks! Virginia -1.5 (LARGE) GOAT OUT!

Well, we find ourselves in a pivotal moment where we must choose who will advance to the NCAA Championship, and who will go home crying??. Gents no need to worry, DAS G0AT has you covered for tonight's marquee matchups. We’ll start with the Cavaliers -6, slam them like there's no tomorrow! We're talking about one of the best 3 point defensive teams in the country. What does Auburn do? Run and shoot 3’s. This matchup falls perfectly into Virginia’s favor. I expect the week off helps Guy get out of his shooting slump, and the high pace style gets him plenty of looks at the basket. Auburn will realize tonight how badly they miss Chuma! So, Sit back and relax! Tonights drink of choice as we watch this winner is, Extra Dirty Goose Martini with Blue Cheese Olives. Virginia -6 LARGE

W/L/T = 3-4-1 Take the Bulls here fellas and don't think twice about it. Depaul is all sorts of banged up and will be playing a limited rotation. And honestly, USF could have won the game two nights ago, but it slipped through their fingers.
I don't post on here unless I like it, and this falls under one of those games. Take them ML and go to sleep. DAS G0AT Recommends a Goose and Soda with muddled cucumbers as the drink of choice for this Friday night WIN.

Purdue will have a hard time draining 3’s with the Virginia defense. They have been shaking off the UMBC loss last year, and -4 is nearly not enough to steer me away from this game. Enjoy the pick
