created a topic 2020 Playoffs Predictions $$ in NBA Betting Hi guys, this is my predictions for the 2020 NBA Playoffs 1st Round SERIES : Boston Celtics -420 (Correct Score 4-2 +340) Toronto Raptors -4000 (Correct Score 4-1 +190) Los Angeles Lakers -650 (Correct Score 4-0 +315) Denver Nuggets -270 (Correct Score 4-1 +350) Los Angeles Clippers -620 (Correct Score 4-2 +315) Milwaukee Bucks -7100 (Correct Score 4-1 +210) Miami Heat -290 ( Correct Score 4-3 +475) Oklahoma City Thunder +135 (Correct Score +500) I think the best play for this round is the 4-0 Lakers... Portland is exhausted by their run, I would be surprised if they win a game against a well rested Lakers team. Lakers don't want extra game. Pacers/Heat and Thunder/Rockets probably 6 or 7 games, 4th seed vs 5th seed and great rivalry ! FUTURE PREDICTIONS : Toronto Raptors to WIN EAST +350 Denver Nuggets to WIN WEST +1000 Denver Nuggets to WIN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP +2200 I will uptade the post for the other rounds ! This is mine and why in MLB Betting Arrieta numbers against the Pirates bats are nasty : 0.118 vs Alvarez 0.154 vs Cervelli 0.100 vs Harrison 0.235 vs Marte 0.188 vs Polanco 0.105 vs Ramirez 0.160 vs Walker But guess what, Andrew McCutchen is batting 0.348 (8/23) against Arrieta. This is an excellent news for the Pirates if their best player has a very good average against the "untouchable" Arrieta. One player can't win a game himself ? Yes, it's true. But a good game by McCutchen with a crazy crowd will surely lead the other players to a good game. This season, McCutchen against Arrieta : 4/12 with 2 walks/6 strikeouts It's an other factor to take into account for this game. This is mine and why in MLB Betting Arrieta is maybe the best pitcher right now but a Wild Card game isn't a regular season game, don't forget it, especially on the road The perfect exemple is Kershaw... Pirates was +126 at home vs Arrieta on September 16th but it was with AJ Burnett on the mound. And now they are +120 with Cole on the mound who have a excellent record against the Cubs. The Pirates are in this Wild Card game since severals month, and know since severals weeks that it's against the Cubs. You have to be smart here. Look at the numbers for Arrieta on 9/27 against the Pirates on sunday night baseball : 7.0 IP for 1 hit with 9 SO and no walk... So perfect that I think the Pirates are intentionally losing this game, they don't care about it. It was a loss, but a good loss because they won informations. Can we say the same thing for the Cubs ? I'm may be crazy but that's what I think... Numbers are too good for the Cubs : - Arrieta on the mound - A 35-17 record as a FAV against DIV rivals - A 24-15 record on the road against DIV rivals But for me the experience of the Pirates will be the key at home, remember the game against the Reds with Cueto on the mound 2 years ago... My Pick for the World Series : Pittsburgh Pirates Very regular this year with a good record in the BEST division in all baseball. They have a good balanced roster with pitchers and batters (top to bottom) They have a solid home field and a good playoffs/Wild Card situation experience last years. They will probably host the NL Wild Card game against the Chicago Cubs. They have a revenge to take against this team with the poor series last week. Gerritt Cole will be on the mound against the Cubs : VS Cubs : 7-1 ERA 2.88 WHIP 1.10 AVG 0.250 K/BB = 6.27 This is kind of number you want to see for a pitcher who starts a wild card game. Then, they will play against the St Louis Cardinals without home field advantage. On the paper, Cardinals are the best team this year but only on the paper. I know that a rotation is not only 2-3 pitchers but these have impressive numbers and the Pirates can use a solid bullpen too. I don't know who will win the AL Pennant but the two favorites (KC and TOR) aren't good enough to beat this Pirates team on a 7 games series.... They have a 13-7 record in interleague this season, best record in the NL. And you what's your pick ?
