Eagles front line is far more superior than the lions'. Liked what I saw from hurts week one.

This will be either a season long thread, or my one and only post for the year.

I'm starting with $250 and betting it all on a two team parlay this Sunday. The plan, obviously, is to hit, build up a bigger bank, and then play smaller units throughout the season.

49ers ML + Panthers ML @ -113

There isn't much not to like with the 49ers @ Detroit. Detroit's defense is abysmal and I just don't see how Detroit will stop the 49ers. Kittle will be a match-up nightmare for Detroit's secondary and the 49ers should run the ball at will on the Lions. 

Panthers at home with CMC returning vs a rookie qb's debut is a set-up I like. I'm a fan of Zac Wilson and think he'll be a good QB, however asking him to go into Carolina with the Jets on his debut to get the W is no small ask. Give me the Panthers

Seeing lots of Tiger backers today. Interesting considering the superior Twins put up 16 runs on them yesterday. Only reason I can see for that is because Happ is a soft throwing left hander.

Picking Twins bats to stay hot against a not so good Detroit lineup. Twins have faced Mize three times in his young career, more than any other club so there should be some familiarity.

Baylor peaked at the right time and Gonzaga never stood a chance

Try and talk me out of this. I'm typically not one for teasers, and I know most would say it's a sucker bet, but I've enjoyed them late in the tourney. Early on they would be bad bets as you would find yourself heavily on the wrong side of a line due to odd match ups, but as the championship approaches, matches get more even and therefor theoretically should be closer and "harder" to cap. This is where I like the teasers.

My book currently has Gonzaga ML @ -195. Typically I would like this bet as I think recency bias is all over Baylor after they gave Houston a beating. Not saying Baylor -4.5 isn't deservedly so, it is and Baylor is good, but let's not forget how great this Gonzaga team is. When the two were supposed to play earlier in the year, the expected line I believe was Gonzaga -6.5.

My book currently has the O/U set at 159 at -108 respectively. Both of these teams can light it up and run, however this is a high total for a title game. With that being said I could easily see this being an exciting high scoring game.

So here is my teaser. Talk me out of it. It is a parlay by the way.

If I can get these two teasers with a better payout than a Gonzaga ML bet, I'm all in. This teaser not hitting would suggest a low scoring beat down by Gonzaga. I don't see that happening.

Houston is one of the best rebounding and three point defending teams in the country. They like to play at a slower pace, but have shown they can compete if the other team likes to push, which baylor does. The line was spot on, so buying the points here is a nice cushion.

Gonzaga is a great team, one of the best I've ever seen. No way I see UCLA winning this game, however 14 points in a Final 4 is a large spread. Not saying Gonzaga won't cover it and I believe they deserve that spread, but buying a few boosting it up UCLA +19 feels safe. Gonzaga would benefit from a closely contested win.

Would be nice, but we know they could never be that bold with their product

I know, everyone thinks a teaser is a sucker bet, but boy does buying a few points alleviate stress, at least till tip off.

Arkansas 1H Team Total 40.5u - ARK faced ORU early in the year and put up 30 points in the 1H. ARK has shown the last few games to be a second half team.

Loyola -2.5 or -3.5 - Oregon State has been hot dating back to their Conference tourney. When you're hot, the last thing you want to do is sit a few days. 6.5 points is quite high to lay for my liking, so I'll be looking to buy a few here.
