Trends without proper context can be a dangerous way to handicap. A couple of notes about this one:
Buffalo was favored in all 12 of those games, with an average point spread of more than 6 points per game The first 7 of those 12 games came before McDaniel, Tyreek, Armstead, Ramsey and others were on this team. The first 2 of those games came during the so-called "Tank for Tua" season The next 2 came during Tua's rookie season, when they had the worst O-line (statistically) in NFL history and 0 notable skill-position players The next 2 came during Flores' final season, when he was actively sabotaging Tua's career Since McDaniel became coach, Miami is 1-4, with 2 losses by a FG in Buffalo (one in a blizzard, the other in the playoffs without Tua as QB). Both games last season Miami was decimated with key injuries... Armstead, Williams, Ramsey and Phillips in game 1... Williams, Wynn, Waddle, Mostert, Phillips, Chubb and Holland in game 2. They literally had 0 healthy pass rushers at the end of that game. Hill was also hobbled and missed a lot of snaps in that game.
Just something to consider for those who look at that trend and don't look any deeper into it. |

@Cupcaking Yea the typo thing is an easy mistake... I was a bit more befuddled by the Diggs / Davis comment, but you obviously realized that after you posted it. |

Just the kind of football analysis I've come to expect from Covers. Yes... Diggs and Davis are playing... both for different teams. I assume you meant to say the Dolphins (not Bills) won't have their starting RB (Mostert)... but this expectation that their run game will be non-existent (which I've seen a couple people say) is pretty uneducated. Miami has the deepest RB room in the NFL, and last year their running game was #6 in the NFL. I'd pump the breaks on that expectation that the Bills will shut down the Dolphins' running game. Last year in their 2 meetings, Miami ran for 250 yards on over 6.5 yards per carry. Apparently Achane is banged up, but he seems like he'll be good to go, and Miami has a rookie RB (Jaylen Wright) who is an absolute speed demon and a bruiser of a RB... not to mention Jeff Wilson, who ran strong to close out the game against the Jags after Mostert got hurt. |

Week 1 plays Best Bets: 1-0 (+2.0 U) ML Dogs: 1-4 (-2.45 U)
Best Bet 2U 49ers (-4.5)
ML Dogs 1U Panthers (+170) 1U Steelers (+155) 1U Cards (+240) 1U Titans (+160) 1U Broncos (+210)
Continuing the bad luck on my ML plays from last year. 4 of the 5 were winning in the 3rd quarter, but only 1 could come through. Just needed 2 wins to make a profit on those bets. |

Exactly! You do not owe any cop your respect... but their fragile little egos often demand that you do. |

Come on, man! You know those cops weren't worried about him having a gun. They wanted to punish him for not kissing their asses! He was stupid to talk shit to them, because he should know cops have an ego problem. But stop acting like they were following proper procedure or some bullshit! I saw enough from that video to know that cop is an arrogant cock-sucker with a power trip. Unfortunately for Tyreek... the cop is the one who is allowed to be an arrogant cock-sucker with a power trip! |

All Tyreek had to was listen and follow the directions of the officers,............ but no. He had to be a brazen, tough black guy with officers. Gee ? when has that happened before ?
The person you are replying to was not defending Tyreek. |

Then again... he was dragged out of his car for "careless driving." A bit excessive. Tyreek was acting like a self-entitled asshole... but that is not a valid reason to drag him from his car and throw him on the ground. The cop was on a power trip... clearly! You could tell by the shit he was saying. |

in NFL Betting @aron25 If it's just a case of money-hungry ho's, why isn't every QB or other high-paid NFL player accused of these things, but he has been countless times?

Stick to rooting for the 49ers... trust me, this Jets team is a fraud! Bad coach, bad O-line, and a QB who inexplicably people expect to still be good 3 years after the last time he was a good QB, at the age of 41, coming off of an achilles injury. |

My sentiments exactly! How are people getting hyped for this team? I've been saying for several months... this season is going to be an absolute disaster for the Jets, and a nightmare for Jets fans. |

in NFL Betting Why are people buying into the hype around a team with a 41-year old QB who hasn't played in 2 years, hasn't played well in 3 years, and is coming off of a torn achilles? They are a mid-level team with a shitty offensive line and a shitty coach, and will struggle mightily to make the playoffs as a 7 seed. Personally think they'll finish around 9th or 10th in the AFC standings. Get off this bandwagon... it's not going anywhere! |

Just saw this! You did not seriously make a thread claiming that the Jets should have been favored on the road against the 49ers this week!
Hang it up, dude! Seriously! |

Jets are a mid-tier team. Personally don't think they're good enough to make the playoffs, and definitely the hype on them coming into this season was misplaced. |
