Here it goes: 12-4 on the season. Let me know what you guys think! Jak + 7.5 Was - 2.5 Atl -1.5 Pit -1.5 Nwo -6,5 Lets see how those go. Tough week this week, not sure about the Pitts game. anyways those are the picks for this week |

Ten VS Mia Tennessee lost 20-51 at home to Chicago last week, but the Titans weren’t actually as bad as that score indicates, as the 4 fumbles that they lost are random (they only lost 5 fumbles total in their first 8 games) and led to a ton of extra points for the Bears. Chicago only averaged 5.8 yards per play so Tennessee’s defense was that bad.The Titans are good enough to have beaten Detroit and Pittsburgh (and Buffalo) this season while Miami’s 4 wins have all come against teams with losing records (Oakland, Cincinnati, St. Louis, and NY Jets).
Dal VS Phi Both of these teams are better than they're showing, but the Eagles certainly have more problems thanks to an offensive line that can't keep defenders from getting in the backfield. Cowboys apply to a solid 90-45-5 ATS bounce-back situation, so I'll lean with Dallas to be the team that gets the much needed win.
SD VS TB Tampa Bay’s offense has really started to click since their week 5 bye week. All the math models favor Tampa Bay by 4 ½ and 5 points, so I’ll lean with the Bucs minus the field goal.
Oak VS Bal Oakland is certainly good enough offensively to keep this game interesting against a shaky Ravens defensive secondary without top CB Lardarius Webb. But Oak D is brutal, as we saw last week. So im going to lean with the Ravens this week. Just a gut feeling.
Anyways GL to everyone this week. Feel free to have some feed back. GL |

Was Vs Pitts All 4 of Washington’s losses this season have been by 7 points or less and I expect this game to be competitive too.The Steelers, apply to a negative 50-93-6 ATS angle that’s based on their high number of average penalties. I’d prefer to take the points. Im taking Was.
Nyg VS Dal The Cowboys opened the season with a thorough 24-17 road win over the Giants in a game that was much more lopsided than the final score indicates. The Giants have won 5 of 6 since then and the Cowboys’ only two other victories have come against Tampa Bay and Carolina. The big injury for the Cowboys is that of star LB Sean Lee, who is lost for the season with an injured foot. The Cowboys couldn’t stop the run in two games without Lee last season and he is clearly one of the best interior linebackers in the NFL. I would still consider Dallas a Strong Opinion at +3 points or more.
SD VS Cle The Chargers surely needed a bye week after collapsing in the 2nd half against Denver on Monday night football two weeks ago and it’s likely the extra week off did them some good. The math only favors the Chargers by 1 ½ points but they should be better coming out of their bye week and I’ll lean with San Diego at -2 ½ or less.
NE VS STL This game is being played in London, England and 4 of the 5 games have been one score games and 4 of the 5 have gone under the total. The only blowout win was New England’s 35-7 win over the Bucs in 2009 but I think this game will be more competitive. The Rams are actually expected to average more yards per play in this game. St. Louis is much improved under head coach Jeff Fisher and their offense has gone from bad to better than average offensively., Jeff Fisher is 78-49-1 ATS as an underdog in his coaching career, including 5-2 ATS this season. I still like the Rams plus the points but I’ll resist making them a Best Bet. Im leaning towards the Rams but not an easy bet. |

Cin over Cle Cleveland’s problem had been the 9 interception thrown by rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden. Weeden probably won’t keep averaging nearly two interceptions per game, but he’s likely to throw significantly more interceptions than an average quarterback would. The Bengals are about average on both sides of the ball but my math favors Cincy by 3 ½ points in this game. Cleveland does apply to a 64-25-1 ATS home underdog situation, but they barely qualify as a home dog, so I’ll lean slightly with Cincinnati in this game. Arz over Buf This is an interesting matchup between a horrible offensive team and a horrible defensive team and both teams are in a bounce-back situation after disappointing results last week.Buffalo played last week without two injured starters on the offensive line and then had two backups go down with injury, so they’re a bit thin up front and that could be a problem against a good Arizona defensive front. Im leaning towards Arz in this match up.
GB over Hou Green Bay’s once potent offense has been bogged down by a leaky offensive line that can’t protect quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who has been sacked 21 times in 5 games. Rodgers is still good enough to have the Packers rated at just slightly below average offensively.so I’ll lean with the Packers plus the points despite the math leaning the other way. I also like the Under here, as the total is high because people still think of Green Bay as a high scoring team. The fact is that the defenses are much better than the offenses on both of these teams.
Dal over Bal Dallas is 2-2 straight up, 1-3 ATS and have been outscored by an average of 5.8 points per game. But, the Cowboys are one of the better teams in the league and they’re going to prove that eventually. Baltimore is sitting at 4-1 thanks to a very good offense but their defense has aged and misses defensive MVP Terrell Suggs. The Ravens are just average defensively this season. I like Dallas plus the points and this game. Thats it, any feed back is welcome BOL to everyone TGIF

This week I have: NE - I dont think Buff can keep going at the pace that they've been going. 31- 10 TEN - Tenn will keep it a close game for the most part. Hou is a great team this year. I feel Tenn will keep it within a 2 score game. 28-16 NWO - GB is coming off that loss against SEA this play is kinda of tough for me but im gonna go with my gut on this one. NWO is deff not a 0-3 team 24-21 SD - I think this is gonna be a blow out, but you never know with KC even know they are 1-2 on the year they have put up points. but I feel the win against NWO last week will hurt them this week.35-14 thats it so far. would love to hear some feed back. Cheers BOL to everyone |

Tom, Thanks for the info on my picks, Your right i did ask and thanks for answering. What are your thoughts on Ind this week? do you believe they are going to go 0-16? If any week they are going to win or keep it close i think it will be against Ten. This is one of my problems. I have always loved the underdogs.which sometime gets me in trouble. The Hou game is a tough one for me, I have doubted Car all season I didnt think Newton would show up this season. thanks for all you're insights on this wk. Ive read alot of your post's well written. I dont listen or believe everything I read on here, just need some help. Which teams do you like this week ATS? Thanks again buddy |

Thanks for the post Tom, This whole season I have been doing my homework on stats and all that junk. And I cant seem to win a damn thing, but I guess that goes along with the whole gambling part. You're right it's much more satisfying knowing you did the work too win the big prize. I just thought i would come on here to see if anyone had any hints or tips for this week. I went 5-5 last week, which has been the story of my life this year in my pool.
This week im leaning towards STL,NYG,IND,CAR,OAK,NYJ. Any thoughts on those? |
