I agree with Boom here Clemson ate that Auburn Line up . Louisville does not have the same talent the do across the front. Big Advantage Clemson here

They did last year as well. nobody knows what will happen Saturday. I just wrote a clear blue print that I am sure any college coach would agree this is how to stop Jackson. But you need the Jim's and the Joe's not just the X and o's .. Across that line of scrimmage there is a guy who also wants to win, who also got up for 5:30 Am workouts... Sometimes its desire sometimes its luck most of the time its a combination of both that determines the winner that day

It doesn't matter what scheme you are in if you do not have the talent. The most important thing in shutting down Jackson is DISCIPLINE . If the linebackers get caught out of position that puts the entire defense in big trouble. Second is Coverage ability or speed. If your corners can play man coverage that enables the safeties to come up into the box. At the very least the strong safety to defend against the read option. If the defense has to double the receivers or play any type of zone Jackson will have a field day against anyone. Having solid cover corners makes it much easier to just have more people to play the read option. Having athletic linebackers also make it easier to defend this type of offense. Much easier written they executed.

Boom,
Hope all is well . As a huge SEC guy it pains me to say it but I actually think Ohio State is kinda flying under the radar. Barrett is a well seasoned vet and the D is lined with 5 star talent. Michigan will take a step back I actually see Wisconsin and Penn State both being solid. Big 10 is trending up. Clemson is stacked but I just look back at games like NC STATE/PITT and a lot fell their way last year. I see then being that 1-2 loss team that the committee has to weigh their schedule in the end and perhaps them now being considered a power gets them in. |
