Things to keep in mind if you back or fade either of these guys in the future....
Wood has been throwing way too many fastballs and he isnt the same pitcher if hes throwing so many fastballs. DeSclafani might be legit... https://www.thefantasyreport.net/2015/05/05/look-early-season-numbers-desclafani-harper-santana-wood/ |

at gindy101.. im doing some work on thefantasyreport(dot)net and would appreciate the support. your analysis is pretty spot on I'd say. In the end id agree with Cannon88. I think Baltimore wins it. They dont really have a guy youd consider an ace, but they definitely have a deep rptation with above average guys. They lost a lot of punch but theyre adding Davis and Wieters essentially. Wieters not entirely healthy yet but is a big addition when he comes back. And maybe they even get a full year out of Machado. So those guys i view as additions and i think they make an impact. I think Toronto. Boston. New York. Tampa. Round out the division. The only thing i think Boston can do to win it (which could easily happen), is if they make additiona to their pitching staff (like hamels).

Add me on the other site at gindy101. And visit thefantasyreport (dot)net . Im doing some work over there on the site.
In general, byroncard is right... hitters are more valuable than pitchers in fantasy. That being said, pitchers generally dominate in h2h points leagues. Id try to load up on strikeout pitchers and guys who hit 20 plus homeruns and dont strike put 130 plus times.
