replied to Advice for placing a large wager in Vegas in NFL Betting Thank you all for the info and suggestions. I can't fly out this weekend due to obligations I can't get out of, and despite my best efforts, nobody was willing to fly from MD to Vegas and back, even though I offered up 10% (3k flat fee whether I win or lose), plus first class airfare. People who aren't in the gambling community look at this kind of proposition as "slimy" or "shady" when it really isn't, such a shame. In the end I'll just have to lay the max 1k bet with my local bookie and either be ECSTATIC when the packers lose, or be miserable when they win, knowing 30k plus could have been on the line. But take note- Pack are the lock of the year. Fade it all you want, but there's no sharper play out there this week. Just wish I could have taken advantage of it to its full potential. created a topic Advice for placing a large wager in Vegas in NFL Betting Hey All, I live in Maryland and am looking to place a 30k wager on a single NFL game. Delaware allows NFL betting but it's crap (you have to do a parlay and it's a $100 max wager) and my bookie won't take that level of action. What are my best options? I don't really feel comfortable wiring 33k to some offshore online site, and I also don't feel like flying out to Vegas just to place a bet and fly back. Does anyone know of a service out there that will handle the placing and collecting of the bet for a fee? Or does anyone have any other suggestions in general? created a topic 8-3 in College Yesterday in NFL Betting I actually posted this earlier today but in the College Football forum by accident. I guess this is what happens when you havent posted in about 3 years. 8-3, Had a nice day in college yesterday. Losses included a Kent St. team that never showed up, a UVA team that was winning until the 4th quarter when they self destructed, and a Miss St. team that could not make a fucking tackle all night despite coming into the game 7th in the country in scoring defense.
