I made $9000 this week hitting a few parlays, missed on life-changing money by just a few games.

Went on to bet games straight up and lost every single one of them.

I never understood why they say parlays are "sucker bets". No one can prove it mathematically. Sure when books pay 10 to 1 on 4-teamers they are sucker bets. But when you are paid fair odds as an accumulator from one game to another and given a bonus, the effective juice per game is between -104 and -106. I have mathematically calculated it.

Still ended up making money this week. Won about $9000. And decided to make 4 SU wagers for once. NOTHING. BUT. 0-4

Lost $8000 on 3 plays including Atlanta +6 at home and $1K on ATL ML.

This is becoming a mess but lots of football to be played. I will make an odd placement in the top of the list, as well as some sharing ranks. Feel free to throw in your opinions if you like.

#2. Oklahoma
This could be the best team in the country right now.
Fact: OU will play 4 more ranked opponents including Okie-St and A&M. They will be favored in all of them.
Fact: One of LSU and Bama has to lose. And whoever will that be will not be "better" than OU.

#1/#3. LSU / Alabama
Since we know one of them has to lose, I will put OU as a "sandwhich" between these top teams. For the moment I will give the edge to LSU, Alabama and OU would share the #2 spot.

#4. Stanford
I still believe Stanford is the most complete team in the country. They will probably take at least the #3 spot depending on the margin of victory in the LSU/Alabama game, and definitely a NC contender especially if they beat Oregon.

#5. Wisconsin

#6/#7. Boise State / Oklahoma State
I am finally convinced Boise State deserves to be ahead of Oregon. They actually have a real defense. But then look what the Pokes' defense did today. Since A&M barely beat Texas Tech, even on the road, that actually takes away some from OSU. Boise can't do much more about their weak opponent than win 57-7 on the road. 

#8/#9. Clemson / Oregon
Oregon's loss to LSU was a lot closer than Akry's loss to Alabama. Clemson continues to impress but can we really put them above Oregon? A tie for now but with if James doesn't play, I doubt the Ducks can stay on this list.

#10. Arkansas
Sadly, beating Auburn isn't that big of a feat. But with LaMicheal James questionable. Even a close win by Oregon next week can move Arkansas up.

#11. Michigan
With Texas out of the picture, the door step is all Michigan's for now.

I guess I was also stupid to buy one whole point in the TT game. Didn't want to fuck the whole thing in case it landed on 70.

I have sacrificed a lot of payouts with those point buying but the one game that saved me doing this was Michigan on week 3 when I bought down 28.5 to 28. Saved a 4-teamer and went on to run the balance up to $31K.

Had one of those epic weekends. 16-5-2 run now including CFL for 76%. God know how much I would have won if I had bet more games. I am not even counting the square degenerate public Boise State and the Over in that game. I have yet to have a <80% weekend in college football!

Stupid me decided to bet smaller to make room for hockey. How the FUCK did I not shove my entire balance on the 4-teamer I had circled before the season:

Oregon at home
Stanford at home
Okie-St OVER
Texas Tech OVER

Those plays should be auto-plays BLIND. You should blindly bet Stanford and Oregon at home against a non-supreme team and blindly bet Okie-St and TT overs unless it's a ranked vs ranked against a defensive opponent. Quite the opposite was true. I guess it was too easy. So easy that it did not provide me with enough rush, that I had to go make parlays with these games and a few others. Of course I lost some of those "other few".

And in hockey, after going 3-0-2 the first 2 days. I go 2-1 on my 3-teams for $1760 (to win $9300). The game that fucked me was the Buffalo Under. 3-0 going into the 3rd, the add one last minute and now it 4-1 with 4 minutes to go, just running the clock out and a garbage goal.

That's considered too little considering how much I had in my account. I mean what was I thinking? $750? Jesus that was the strongest play of the season!

HOWEVER. Still got another 5-teamer with those 4 and ONE selection in the NFL tomorrow.

Oklahoma State slowed down after 56 points because they had a 56-7 lead, if Kansas scored punch-for-punch, OSU would probably hit 100.

But take a look at THIS

It is mind boggling that 90% of these games are shut outs and precisely ZERO of the opponents managed to hit double digits.

You blow a team out that sucks, you don't go soft on them. They should have a new rule. Every football team should play their optimum until the last second. They should be like a computer. Up 63-7 with a 3rd down and 10 at midfield? Don't run into the pile!

Imagine if we gave Stanford a -24 point deficit per quarter when they played San Jose State. Would they not score 100 points?
