I want to add, that I can't even really muster too much excitement with baseball. I'm a Dodgers fan, but the whole salary cap is outrageous. To the Dodgers defense, they have a good farm system. So they're able to turn some of these players they trade out into a Mookie Betts. I'm not hating on that. But just having a disregard to a cap limit and living in the luxury tax world really screws the little teams.

I'll still root for the Dodgers, but I did wish all teams were on an even playing field with the talent they can obtain.

But, basically, I wish I could muster up the enthusiasm for hockey. I just haven't got there. I'm a bandwagoner LA Kings fan, and only get excited when they're in the playoffs. 


As for the Bears, I'm seeing they have the 3d most difficult schedule when checking out this site      (insert awkward end of sentence for fear that it won't wipe out everything I wrote).

Having Ben Johnson is perfect for measuring Caleb Williams' success with. Johnson was able to turn a middling Goff into an above average QB. So if he can't turn Caleb around, I think you all have your answer there. What I want to see if what Ben Johnson is going to do with the O-line and the RB room. You have D'Andre Swift and Roschon Johnson. Will he try to replicate the 2-headed RB committee that he had in Detroit with Gibbs and your boy, Montgomery? If so, you may need to upgrade your RB2 there. 

Has Morehead St. ever played Monmouth? I'm seeing a clear connection here.

Has Funky Rufus ever met Weird Henry? I'm thinking that would be an epic meeting.

I'm a fan of the Chargers. They play "Thunderstruck" throughout the game. If they ever make the Super Bowl again, I'd love for AC/DC to perform at halftime, and specifically that song.

Fun fact. I had a Tool bumper sticker on my car back in the day. I don't listen to them anymore, but used to be really into them up until AEnima. About 7 years ago my wife and I went to stay in Prescott, Arizona. We realized that Maynard Keenan's winery was in a small town called Jerome, about 36 miles north of Prescott. So we drove up. Not much to do there, but there was a quaint little downtown strip.

Believe me, I wasn't happy with it but I felt like it was the strongest bet for me. There wasn't a 24 on the TT over. My only regret wasn't taking 24.5 at even money.

Either way, it hit ...in a sweat-free manner. 

GL on your plays. I think I'll tail there as I do expect the Chiefs to eat away at that lead (which entails them putting up points).

My rationale was that this was the best chance of winning a bet. If that's the price I had to pay, so be it. FYI, there wasn't much of an opportunity to get a better price live, but I was able to get Eagles TT o22.5 at -122.

Either way, my only regret is not going bigger and/or grabbing 24.5 at Even money as well.

My next question is do I middle? I expect the Chiefs to regroup in the 2H; whether that's on offense, defense, or both I don't know.

The safest bet on the board, to me, seem like the Eagles TT over.

Eagles TT o23.5 -135 ($135/$100)

I couldn't get a lower price on it, and couldn't find the total at 24 even, so taking it at this price. (Even Bovada had the next total set at 24.5.) Since the line dropped at 23.5 on Bovada, I'm playing it again. Consider it a x2 bet.

I only use 2 books, and sometimes BetOnline, so if you can find it cheaper than that, good for you. Id go o24 for a smaller vig, but Bovada doesn't offer it. (It jumps to 24.5) Since I think 24 is a key number (3 tds and 1 FG), I'll stick with the best play at the price I can get it.

With such a tight line there's always the opportunity for OT as well, which bides well for the FG over.

There's probably a live bet or two in me that I'll post it if i see an opportunity for it.
