The officiating was definitely terrible in this game. There were numerous penalties that was questionable in this game that went against SF. I hate to say it but NFL wanted Ravens to win. Art Modell's death and Ray Lewis retirement.

I believe that at the moment Flacco does not deserve to be paid like a top 5 qb yet. I think for what he is really worth is no more than $15 million per season until he truly proves that he is worthy. Although Flacco does have a canon for an arm, he can not at the moment carry a team by himself. Only Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and Aaron Rodgers and do that. Every other qbs in the NFL really needs a strong defense to really make the qb look good. The ravens defense are just simply making flacco look good. The ravens defense creates turnovers and sets Flacco for easy drives. The defense also gives Flacco more flexibility on offense to take more risk because Flacco knows his defense can save him. Put it this way if Flacco was playing for the Jaguars, do you think he will have the same success as he is with ravens? No he will not.

Overall, when the smokes clear, Flacco will be paid like a top 5 qb. Why? There are lots of reasons. He now has more leverage then ever. A couple months ago this is the same Flacco that couldn't perform at all after a hot 2012 start. Flacco's play started to cool off and there were a report that the players on the ravens had confronted Harbaugh about the new offense( saying that there not using enough of rice). Also leading to the firing of there offensive coordinator. Hey maybe thats what Flacco needs, a new coordinator. But remember this. This is the first time Caldwell ever called plays in his coaching career. Maybe that actually helped their super bowl run because no one knows how caldwell styles of playcalling would be yet. Im sure as next season come other teams will pick it up and be able to stop it more. We will see next season.

What's up guys. I am going to start posting picks again as i had stop cause I wasn't playing nba so much because of NFL, but now since NFL is basically over i am going to play more NBA. I am just a regular joe that handicaps his own games so follow if you like my picks or fade them if you dislike it.

Charlotte Bobcats +4.5 2unit

The bobcats have been playing good basketball at home but have failed to close out the games. In their last two games against Kings and Rockets, the bobcats was actually leading midway through 4th but they crumbled late to lose both games although they did cover against Rockets. I think they come out tonight and really try to get a win against a depleted Hawks team. The Hawks was terrible against the wolves on mlk day. If not for a guy they just sign the day before Pargo they could have lost the game. Pargo scored 14 points in the 4th to help the hawks get the win and the wolves had multiple starters out that game. Plus the hawks could come out flat tonight against the bobcats a team that they dominated because hawks probably are looking ahead to play Boston at Atlanta on Friday. Overall, i just think Bobcats keeps it close and wins it at the end against a depleted hawks team.

one more thing 49ers was playing foreal because they still wanted to secure first round bye and the lost to rams, its not the fact that he lost because of the pitch fumble, my point is that he did not run all over them

49ers are a complete team but far from consistent buddy. Beat packers then lost to vikings, had high hopes to beat giants this season but got blown out, beat pats but them lose to rams, and got blown out by seahawks.

GB got smoked because they didnt anticipate kaep being able to run all over them. They thought with clay matthews and woodson back they thought would be able to play man and just blitz. When that didn't work they were done.

As for the pats game, are you kidding me. Kape did play a good game but that was mostly because new england turnover the ball three times and giving it to kaep in new england territory. From beginning of second half til the end of the game kaep did nothing until that catch and mistackle that led to the game winning touchdown.

What did your boy kaep do against RAMS and SEATTLE?

49ers is on a roll but not for long. Throughout the whole season 49ers never won more than two games in a row. They would win two then lose except for the week that they tied Rams (check it out for yourself). Every time the public puts all their chips on 49ers they lose. Examples: minnesota, giants, rams 2x, seattle! Also, this is an away game and if kaep throws a pick 6 early, no home crowd to fall back on or pick him up. That could rattle him.

Atlanta played a pathetic second half against the seahawks but i think that is because of their inexperience. They had a 20-0 halftime lead and then going into the 4th quarter a 27-7 lead and probably loss focus because they were probably thinking about the 49ers at that point. Atlanta did get very lucky to escape with a win over the seahawks.

I think atlanta's near debacle and green bay's stupid man coverage gameplan will benefit the falcons more than the 49ers. To the 49ers they played nearly a perfect game and saw atlanta nearly collaspe in the second half is sure to make 49ers overlook the atlanta falcons.

Atlanta will come out more focus then in their last game and will play more zone coverage to limit kaep's running game. 49ers will play their a game to but i think Atl keeps it close and escapes with a victory to advance to the superbowl.
