Want to apologize to gambleholic63 - I was dealing with some stuff last night and took it out on you. I know you didn't mean to sound arrogant - I just took it the wrong way. We are cool. Good luck on the super bowl.

Here we are – analyzing this statistic or that statistic.
Who beat who when and by how much. Pulling and tugging against the odds of this
or that. Constantly changing our minds over and over again. Why? When all we
have to do is follow the energy. Who HAS
the energy? It’s so obvious that after the game you will say to yourself – I knew
it. All you have to do is drop the rope and walk to the other side. You are swimming upstream but all you have to do is turn around! It really is
that easy…. Go with the flow…. Follow the energy…. There will come a time when you walk through the door then
turn around and suddenly realize there was never a door to begin with…That time
is now. Let’s go. |

Laying 10%, 7% or even 5% at a reduced vig shop is nothing short of a HORRIBLE investment for your money. You can call it sharp or square or whatever other term you have for it, but if you are really concerned about making money then sports betting is certainly not the place for 99.9% of the population. I suppose there are 10 out of 1000 people that can make money at it due to statistical improbabilities, but everyone else is losing in the long run. I am a lifelong investor in the markets as well as a lifelong recreational gambler. If the market has a meaningful correction beyond today, I might invest another 20k, 30k or even 50k in the stock market because I have the liquid cash to do so. However, come Sunday, I will have a meager $200 on the Super Bowl because any side you pick is going to be -EV after the juice (the entertainment fee). You can argue you have a lock, but you still have -EV. I have to say this has been an interesting thread. I disagree; this has not been a stupid thread at all and has been very helpful for all that have read it. And that is why we are all here really, for some helpful discussion that might give us a little bit of insight before we place our little nugget of hard earned gold upon the betting scale. That said, I'd like to ask you, when you're betting: "20k, 30k or even 50k in the stock market because I have the liquid cash to do so." Does this make you feel special? Do you feel empowered because you can gamble 50k on a whim? Like some pompous fool you have the power to be extra pompous with your extra fat pile of of extra crisp paper? I'd like to pose a question to YOU Mr Pompous. Let's say you won the lottery and they handed you a check for 100 million dollars. While walking home that check slipped through your hands and fluttered into very busy and dangerous traffic. I ask YOU - is that 100 million dollars fluttering to and fro...or is it a piece of paper with some ink written on it? Wake up. |

I'm gonna send an email out with the story of this trip. Anyone interested in more can reply back. This trip involves a bit of a political hot potato and I'm positive covers wouldn't appreciate the drama it would cause. I have a feeling I'm operating on thin ice here as it is.
Like I've said before - aside from the day and time frame I don't really control much once I get there. I just go with the flow and report back what I see and aside from the game, what I saw was unbelievable...

Hey sorry guys - I ran into some stuff on this trip I was not anticipating. Most of it revolves around the Trump administration. We are seeing rumblings of it today. I'll start a brand new thread tomorrow. All I can say is man - crazy...still trying to process it.

Traveling soon... so excited! I have everything I need. Not sure why my other post was deleted. Sometimes immense power can be scary and fearful to some. It's okay though. It's just a football game.

Many times what we refer to as omens is just simple coincidence. Same thing with deja vu. The brain plays tricks on you. However have you ever felt someone staring at you, only to turn around and see a person staring directly at you? How is that possible? Nothing physical was exchanged between the two of you. That is something I write about. To stay on topic, omens will not be needed for the Superbowl, nor will voodoo or tarot cards or any other such nonsense. I will be traveling... the question is, are you going to come along for the ride?

I had The Clones Part II all dialed up but after reading wallstreetcappers post I decided not to post it. If he gets his panties in a bundle because of some stories then so be it. Let's watch some football!

Atlanta last week was almost too easy. Now here we are and things are a bit more difficult. After looking at the board here is what I like:
Atlanta -5 Steelers Under 50.5 Now I said months ago that I see the Patriots in the Superbowl, however I expect this to be a close, hotly contested game. Steelers verses Patriots will be a bitter, close battle. Almost like an unstoppable force impacting an unmovable object. What will happen? That said, I do not know if they cover the 6 points. I can easily see the patriots winning 23-20 or even losing 23-21. Either way I am going to enjoy watching the best entertainment in the world. In summary I am predicting a super bowl of: Atlanta Falcons New England Patriots If this thread sticks around, unlike some of my others, I will share another future story come Sunday morning. I enjoy sharing the stories and I appreciate the feedback - I just don't like having my posts deleted for no apparent reason.
