You know how people always disappear after making a really stupid bet? Yeah, I'm not that person. What a dumb move on my part. I'd like to just blame the fireball shots but it was as much ego as anything. I was on a large heater and fell into the "I can't be wrong" mentality. Now, the house has all the $$ from what was a huge run up in my roll. As a backstop, I'm going to start cashing out as I (hopefully) win, leaving only $500 or so in my account at any given time so that I'll be limited and not blow the entire roll if I've been over served during the holidays! Well, looks like I'm re-loading. Alcohol + Emotion is never a good thing while betting or investing. Can't believe I pulled such a stupid stunt. More mad at myself than the loss of money. It would have been better just to send the $$ to the tornado victims. Good luck everyone and Merry Christmas. |

I just literally put the max 5k live bet on UF ml -109 after that Knights TD. I’ll have $22 left in my roll if it loses. Fireball shots and wagering are not good companions lol. I haven’t reloaded in 4 years. I’ll be doing the reload “walk of shame” if this doesn’t hit. |

The play calling is bad. For one thing, Jones shouldn’t be allowed to attempt hitting a route longer than 10 yards downfield because he has zero touch downfield. As for what I’m talking about, it’s called cashing a ticket. The UF defense at least has it together so far. |

UCF playing hard as expected. They’re like a girlfriend who got ghosted when UF showed no interest in recruiting them and they’re looking for revenge. I anticipate that UF has had enough and the Knights defense is getting tired, even if it’s a ‘chilly’ 54 degrees so lactic build-up is not an issue, as it would have been just 3 days ago in Tampa when it was 80. Going large here. |

Yeah, the risk her is that for a program like UCF trying to prove their worth of moving into a power 5 conference this is like a Super Bowl for them. For UF it's like a major let down to be in this game. I went to UF post-grad. I can tell you no one in Gainesville is too excited about this, although I live in Tampa now. In Orlando, I am sure their stoked. Still, have to believe UF has enough pride to show up. Motivation is always the wild card in these earlier bowl games. |

@James35 The risk here is that Florida just doesn't care about a scrub game and goes through the motion. A program like UF has a lot of potential NFL talent, even though their crap defense hasn't been impressive this year and certainly not like we're used to from them. Unless they just partied last night and don't care they should be able to easily cover under 1 TD. |

What a Christmas gift from the linesmakers, who are probably all s-faced for the holidays and this game is likely not creating much exposure for them anyways. What a bizarre 2H totals line. I would have set the 2h total line at 21.5 and with only 7 pts scored I would have still been off by over 14 pts. 29.5? LOL. Money in the bank.

Took the 1H over 28.5 but taking the under 29.5 in 2H. I think there will be longer drives and clock killing in the 4q. |

Don't be afraid of "square money" - Alabama -13 is a Christmas Gift
in King of Covers Sometimes on this forum people think to hard and try to figure out where the "smart money" is at and how much Vegas knows, so they go all contrarian. Case in point, if you didn't make an absolute boatload of money on Utah v Oregon, then you over thought it. Utah giving under 3 pts when you just had a dress rehearsal, and they're not going to cover 3? If you couldn't see that the Ducks had no answer for the Utah defense and that Utah had a major axe to grind with Oregon, then you didn't watch the first game. But yet, many sit back and over think it. I was not just betting pre-game but I think I had 6 in-game bets. Don't get me wrong, there are fluke games where I'll completely ignore an earlier head to head, but that was so obvious. With the Tide vs Cincy we don't have them playing head to head. Cincy had a very experienced defense and good QB. Alabama no longer needs style points....they're in. Do you think that Saban wants this game within 2 scores at any point? I think the line should be -20.5, but you can get it at -13. Of course Cincy is going to have more motivation that can be contemplated as a non-major. They're also going to get their arses whooped. Bama is not going to look past them, it's too important. Alabama wins 38 - 10 or so. I am giving the 13 pts and piling on large. Made a good chunk this year and putting nearly everything on it. Ridder is not going to be able to keep up by a long shot. But hey, keep thinking your the "sharp money." It'll be a big payday for us squares. |

I got in my bets today just before logging in to see that the FL Hard Rock Seminole app has suspended bets. I'm surprised it wasn't sooner given that a DC federal judge deemed it unconstitutional a while back. I hope you feasted on Utah pre-game, in-game, etc. The message on the app says that all payouts will be honored. Hopefully on appeal it will be allowed. Otherwise, it'll take a referendum ballot to amend the FL constitution, which if passed would likely open the door to FD and DK wagering (unless it was limited to the Seminole Compact). I wish the government would stay out of our lives. Tax us on it, that's fine. But don't tell adults who aren't affecting anyone else how to spend their $$. |

Another 2H bet. Taking the over here. Game will remain close so no letting up on either side. |

@James35 Actually BC can throw….just not to players wearing their team’s jersey color.

Deacs poring it on outscoring BC 17-0 so far 2H. Just as predicted BC can’t throw. Likely QB change coming up. |

I hate giving road points to an away team up by 14 at half but I think BC gets forced into throwing and that ain’t gonna cut it. I took WF -3.5 1H and will give .5 2H even with the lead. |

Not sure what to make of BC having "15 players with the flu during the week." Tempting to take WF -5.5 on that basis alone, but until warm-ups it's a tough call to know who will dress, so I'll stay away for now and bet this game a little differently and play 3 player props and the WF team total. SAM HARTMAN: Over 299.5 passing yards PAT GARWO: Over 86.5 rushing yards (if he's out with the flu it'll cancel, hopefully it's not the entire O-line out lol) A.T. PERRY: Over 86.5 receiving yards WF TEAM TOTAL: Over 34.5 Good luck. |

If only there were all this easy. WSU outscores UW 27-6 in the 2H. |
