Adding Nevada -7

A program that knows how to win. They have some talent and are much better than NMST. Bit of a wild card in that it’s a new Nevada staff. Like the talent gap! Easy travel for Nevada. Let’s ride.

I hope they keep him. Keep burning that inbred program to the ground.

Week 0

Northwestern +12.5
- Frost and NU are blueballing their fan base and it’ll be noticed today. NW is a cyclic program built on development and toughness. They have a slight advantage in the trenches. Early game. Fitz is a better coach than Frost. I don’t expect a NW win, but I do expect a close game. Would also favor the under here as the offenses take time to gell. Cats OL will be the biggest advantage vs the corn. Like the CATS!

Illinois -13.5 & under 44
- parlay for me. Wyoming hasn’t been the same since they lost their OC to Montana St. They simply cannot score and Illinois wants to set the tone physically. Expect Illinois to nickel and dime Wyoming averaging just under 4 ypr. Slow methodical domination by the Illini in Bielemas 3rd year. Take the points and Under!

UTEP +1.5
- too good to be week 0 underdogs. Gotta take the points as it’s almost even money. North Texas doesn’t have the culture UTEP has. Hard place to play for the Dallas boys. Expect UTEP to win close or open it up a bit.

Hawaii +9.5
Week 0 trip to the Rock for a poor Vandy program. Long trip, in paradise, two below average programs, take the Warriors. Look at the history for P5 programs going to Hawaii week 1/0. Hawaii holds one of the best early season home field advantages and are led by a coach in Chang who will have them fired up. Close game here with a slight edge to Hawaii.
